If they do adapt a season 2 how long will it take to come out and which or how many volumes will it adapt?

I'm not sure how long it would take to release since it's uncertain how many light novels they would need to adapt. I would assume at least 4 or 5 would be needed for a new season since season 1 adapted 5 novels. If it's 4 then maybe not super long since when volume 13 comes out, we'll have 4 novels after the time skip/after the Knapsack Kid movie! But if it's 5 it'll of course be longer of a wait since we'll have to wait for another novel to release and then for the adaptation to happen. I'm hoping not another 4 year wait for more anime 🙏
