The end of the Mic Mac Mall Zellers

As of 2021, the first floor of this building is a relocation of Winners, another large space for lease, with a brand new entrance 4 right between the two spaces, as well as an entrance to Linen Chest on the second floor of the building with brand new escalators and an elevator, and second floor is Linen Chest and a relocation of H&M. This space was also pushed back a bit with a brand new atrium with brand new escalators.

Zellers has dug itself out of its grave! They now are located within both Hudson’s Bay locations in Nova Scotia; Mayflower Mall in Sydney and Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth! 😃❤️

So sad. The song didn't help either. When I think of all the years I worked at Zellers and all the hard work I put in my job I feel a great sense of loss. Target did not take over Zellers the "owner" of HBC did not want a discount chain of stores when he purchased HBC and had the opportunity to sell properties and leases to Target who wanted to come to Canada.

That zellers moved from Dartmouth shopping center which the Eatons was the original location in 1973-1997, zellers wasn't original. Target and Eatons was

The Zellers signs on the outside and mall entrances are gone now. :( So sad to see the store bare. The Toys R Us is leaving too.

@Midnight Aperture IKEA Might be replacing this location and opening a location in Bayers Lake but not in the Target in Bayers Lake. Canadian Tire is taking over Target in Bayers Lake and will be the biggest one in HRM.

So far Linen Chest opened in half of the second floor, Chapters will be relocating into the left side on both floors and rebranded to Indigo later this year and in the second space on the first floor was originally supposed to be Sport Chek relocating from Dartmouth Crossing but that was cancelled, nothing confirmed yet.... They also opened a new 4th entrance between all the newly created store spaces and pushed the space back somewhat and relocated the south court escalators outside the former Target space
