My wife turned me on to this music before she passed. She said music like this kept her going for years. She beat cancer 5 times as a kid/teenager, Lyme disease, MRSA, auto immune, and more. She still gave me the gift of my son when doctors said she wouldn’t survive the birth(but she did). She was and still is the strongest person I’ve ever known. She passed away 4 months after this video was posted. But, I remember laying in hospital beds holding her just loving every moment we had with this playing in the background. Thank you for giving me more time with her and something else I’ll always have that reminds me of her.

I've been an avid fan of instrumental rock / post-rock for 7y now … there's so many crazy-good musicians around, if you'd have asked me who's my top I'd have said The Evpatoria Report - Golevka without a hesitation …. but these girls & boys are getting mighty close …. this song - and this version particularly - is honey to my brain, it's so perfectly sweet that it neutralises every bad thought at once. I've known The End Of The Ocean pretty much from the start, the EP, I've come to "re-discover" them & their ocean, how endless it really is, been listening to every song over & over again, and I must say I ABSOLUTELY ADORE what they've created over the years.

I love those song. I listened to it so many times while training for my Ironman! It is now the song that triggers my memory back to my Tulsa Ironman ‘23 and I can relive that day through this song. Even before that training, it helped me work through tough times but that is why I think I leaned on it so much and this band during that long training and the long race and thought times. Allows thought and emotions to process with the music without any words. Just allowing oneself to work through your own sh*t and feel emotions and work them out. Much love

¡Formidable!

I want this played at my funeral 🖤
@LaceChaser Жыл бұрын
If my wife wanted a funeral, I had a whole playlist like this for it. She always told me this type of music is what kept her going all those years battling cancer, Lyme disease, MRSA, etc. Spent most her life in a bubble in a hospital room basically and somehow got out, met me, then gave me a son shortly after proposing to me. This music makes me think of life. Times when she was alive. Sick or healthy. We would spent all day in a tiny hospital bed just listening to her playlist of stuff like this. I listen to this song every day and think of her while hoping she’s even happier where she is than how happy she was before she passed. Which, in her words was “the luckiest and happiest a girl could ever be”.

Thanks for creating this masterpiece. I was listening to pandora yesterday and have a few similar stations (god is an astronaut, this will destroy you and a few others) but have never heard of you guys. I had the playlist on shuffle and this song came on at about the 4.5 mile mark of a 5.5 mile run on a treadmill (I'm usually on a trail outside, but was inside this day because of weather), which the last mile or so are usually dreadful. As this song progressed, I found a smile creeping up on my face. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I am glad I found your work.
