What a crazy turn of events. Platformer maps went from being 'so easy we'll spent 10 minutes playing them and then never play them again. This is wasted content' to "Author medal is set to be intentionally absurd". Either it's so easy it's pointless, or so difficult it's absurd. And here he was wanting a timing.

Kinda missing the point here, the Author medals are supposed to be "Author Medals", times grinded by the authors to be very challenging while still ultimately very doable. And while wirtual did misjudge the difficulty of some of the maps, his point still stands.

@@Iliaas wirtual does have a tendency to mald when he just doesnt immediately understand the lines though, author medals being one shot is good for longevity of the maps no matter how you look at it, so it being extremely difficult just means that the extremely good players have something to grind for instead of just one shotting in 30 mins

Maybe an L take, but I think an idea could have been instead of making the medals always the same increments they could have made them as multiples of the checkpoints. For example Author Medal could be 1 * Number of CP, Gold 3 * CP, etc. Whatever factor they decide to go by, I just think it would be a better approach this way you could come to each CP with the mindset of "Okay I have X attempts to hit this" depending on the map and medal you're aiming for.

Hey Wirtual, I love your videos but your mic audio consistantly triggers my tinnitus and I wind up having to watch in 10 minutes bursts or it becomes unbearable - oddly enough it's only with your videos (I think you mic is too good at picking up your "S" sounds for the most part). I have a few ideas that might help with it but if I'm the only complaint like that this feel free to ignore it. 1: Slightly lower gain when recording (5-10%) 2: Throw the audio in a program like Audacity - its free and there are built in features that automatically clean up those random spikes in the wave form.

On Android, you can modify audio ranges to turn down or up certain frequencies. You can also try different headphones. Some have different frequencies they perform at. For me, some headphones picked up 's' sounds much more harshly than others, so it might be worth experimenting with.

@@uniquename6925 The thing is I have already done pretty much have done that (was exporting to VLC for an audio fix, not a fan of using my phone to watch YT) and this issue is contained purely to his videos out of the creators I watch. So I figured since they're being edited anyways this route is worth a shot. I stopped being able to send vids to VLC when they cracked down on adblockers. They dont send the entire video at once anymore ig.
