i too struggle with this, but i have one thing to share with you. don't trust your feelings nor your thoughts but trust the word of God. Jeremiah 17:9: "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?" . If you truly believe what Jesus have done for you and receive Him as your savior, do not fret but trust in His words. Look the goodness and blessings in your life, tiny ones too, such as the opportunity to wake up and breath, to have a good health, seeing our family or having a fun time with people. Reflect on the cross, that's how much He loves you

This is terrifying. I remember in Luke 23:28-29, Jesus saying to the women who were weeping for him at his resurrection, not to mourn for him but to weep for themselves and their children for a time will come where they will say blessed are the people who never bore children. It seems like Jesus is talking about God’s wrath. Jesus told them to WEEP THEN! We’re closer to the future than they are. This gives any sound minded Christ follower a reverential fear of God! This STARKLY shows that we should fear God ABOVE ALL things. Whether it’s a threat to your finances, someone not liking you, a sickness, etc., that’s NOTHING in God’s grand scheme of things. God’s the ultimate judge, so this trial AIN’T Nothing. Someone not liking me spreading the gospel AINT NOTHING compared to God’s wrath. I’ll take making people feel uncomfortable rather than having them suffer God’s wrath by not sharing the gospel with them.

According to Judaism, everyone goes to Gehenna (Hell). It's not a place of punishment, but rather a place of cleansing in preparation for the souls unification with God. It seems to me the only people or souls you won't find in Heaven, are the ones who reject God's forgiveness. Gods forgiveness is literally limitless, to the point where the only ones who are stuck in pure torment or purgatory, are the ones who reject God's limitless forgiveness.

I know what you mean, I was hesitant to fully commit to God because I was scared too, of what I don't really know. I tried to study my Bible but I always felt like I was missing something important, like I could get the just of what I was reading but I knew there was more to it that I wasn't getting. I started praying that God would grant me understanding so that I could be closer to Him. The next day I started listening to an audio book while I worked, it was a book I'd read before by C.S Lewis called the Screwtape letters, only this time I found there was so much more to it then when I'd read it before. So the next day I listened to another book by C.S Lewis called Mere Christianity, same thing. Not gonna lie, I binged like eight or nine audio books while I worked that week by C.S Lewis because I found that I could actually understand them. Finally I pulled out my Bible and for the first time in my life, as I read 1 Peter I actually understood more of what I was reading. Point being, if you want to be closer to God, my advice would be to pray to Him to draw you closer. We rely on Him for every breath, He knows it, the angels know it, we're the only ones that deny it.

You seem a little young (not that I’m not, I’m only 17 it’s just 14 is especially young to believe) so I’m going to tell you something I wish I heard growing up: this life, the one we are both living now, though it feels real and it is, is not even a trillionth of a percent of the time we will spend in Heaven. Seriously dwell on that daily. Then remember, it is of the utmost importance to make absolutely sure with 100 percent confidence, 99.9999 isn’t enough, that you are going to Heaven. The only way to do that is go to the God who never lies (you do this in prayer and by reading the Bible) and see what He has to say. To summarize it, He says you are not a good person, you are a sinner, BUT Jesus Christ is not, He never sinned so He is like a Lamb, completely white all over, and He took all our sin, all our dirt and blackness of spirit, and put it on Himself so that in the Father’s eyes it was as if sin became one creature, and God struck Him, His own Son, so you could have life in Him because that sin is GONE. That is truth number one, that there is a way for sin to be destroyed Truth number two is this: if you repent of your sin, give up worldly things like for example rap music and video games and childish humor and tik tok (list of things to work on), and you believe in Jesus, not just that He exists but that He is the Lamb who actually took the cross you actually deserved, then you are saved point period end of story. No feelings of man override the truth of God.

I am a young teenager, and this gets me very scared and nervous for when the world will end. We can currently see in 2025 that society is in chaos right now. With wildfires in California, from society issues, hatred for one another... it makes it seem that Jesus is coming back soon. We need to come to Jesus, and preach the Gospel to all people. I love all my brothers and sisters interpretations. The Amillennial view makes the most sense to me. I believe the 1st resurrection in Revelation 20:5 took place in Matthew 27:52-53. There’s clearly a huge resurrection there that’s almost hidden, and I believe that was the 144,000, who have been reigning with Christ now and received not the mark of the beast throughout the Old Testament. Then after the thousand year reign of Christ which I believe is the going out of the gospel into all the world, then the end comes with the great tribulation when Satan is released for a little season, as it teaches in Revelation 20. And this is why I believe his deadly wound is healed (Revelation 13:3). And then immediately after the tribulation is the Day of Judgment and the final resurrection, our resurrection …the rapture (Matthew 24:29-31). This is when the rest of the dead live again after the 1000 year reign of Christ (Revelation 20:5). “The Dead in Christ rise first, then we which are alive.” And I personally believe the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place is homosexual churches, and gay marriage. It’s really big here in California. And homosexuality is a huge abomination in the scriptures.🙂 Amen Forever ♾️ 🙏

I was exactly in this situation a few days ago. I prayed but got no answer. I wasn't happy anymore while in prayer. Life was getting worse. But then, I've realized my mistake. My hands were full of blood! I was commiting lust without asking for any forgivness! I didn't even realize it was that big of a deal, until God himself punished me for it. I didn't even know I was sinning. Right after I stopped my lusts and cried out for forgivness, it all got better again. God bless.

My advice to you is to pray to God and to first recieve him as your Lord and Savior and surrender yourself to him fully and wholeheartedly with a heart to repent. @ that is a very relevant point and I thank you for sharing this Scripture with me. I do think though that the context shows that the people who were seeking after the day of the Lord were the very people who would be destroyed in it if it came, so this verse was for them. I do think we as Christians can long for the day of the Lord OR our own death so we can meet Jesus, but I think we ought to have a complete sobriety for that day that many will perish and though it is salvation for us and joy for us that Jesus is here again, there are many many who are now in Hell. I do think we can have that hope and longing though for the true communion face to face with Christ though, however it comes about.

Since becoming a Christian, I've always dreaded the rapture. Everyone would be like COME LORD JESUS and even as a fresh babe in Christ I'd say that but in my heart and mind I'd be like...not yet...Im not ready. I still feel this way years later. Ive had dreams of the rapture and Jesus Coming and it STRESSES ME OUT. 10 years later and I'm still riddled with anxiety and fear. Any noise that sounds like the trumpet puts me on edge. I'm literally paranoid. This cant be healthy for my walk with Christ but yeah... I wish i shared the same sentiment as everyone else, y'know that they're looking forward to heaven...but I don't. These feelings frustrate me and makes me think I'm a defected Christian....God is merciful though. I just wish I didnt feel this way 😢

When I was younger, it freaked me out as well and I always feared when people said, "Come Lord Jesus" but you know what, I reckon that in my walk with God, He wants me to be the best I can be. The best version of myself, His coming is not a horrid event to me, it would be if I wasn't doing all that I could to get ready. But here's the catch, there's only so much I can do. My works will be in vain if Jesus didn't sacrifice Himself for me. So now, even while I struggle with my human flesh, I pray to God to give me all that I require to make the Rapture and with the way our relationship is, I know He answers me. In summary, Jesus is not some kind of Boogeyman as some paint him to be, he loves you and the scriptures says that He is not willing that anyone should perish but that all should come into the knowledge of the truth....This is just my opinion as a Christian teen who is overwhelmed by God's grace and mercy. I pray God reveals His love for you because He has not given you a spirit of fear but of power and a sound mind.

These are eerily like my dreams. 1st dream: lava came bubbling up from the ground on every inch of Earth. Even in the oceans where all the sea life floated to the surface. People were climbing on their rooftops, trying to get away. The cold water only turned to steam. You couldn't flee by aircraft. They were nothing but ashes. I wanted to grab my stuff but a voice said, "Leave it. You will have all that and much mor. Just let go". I did and my family and I floated up and away from harm. 2nd dream: burning boulders were falling from the sky over New York City. I was standing in the ocean, calf deep. In seconds, the city was reduced to smoking rubble. It looked like ancient ruins. 3rd dream: a huge tsunami ravaged the entire Eastern seaboard. Then a voice said: "Disaster from the East. Destruction on the East". I've had 4 Rapture dreams as well. And other dreams, too.
