In my opinion khrys length isn't that bad when you realize you get darkmoor, shadow magic, the entire morganthe stuff is actually built upon, and the story actually makes sense. The only bad part is the end because it's just so lame and feels rushed but if they made the world any longer i think i'd gouge my eyes out.

Khrysalis is my all time favourite of all worlds, I voluntarily did every side quest just to experience a little more of this world. To me it was such an awesome ending to arc 2, it made grinding through Zafaria and Azteca worth it. Of course I'm not saying this to argue! It's interesting how especially Khrysalis is either loved or hated.

well, it is hated because of how awfully long it is (300 quests), has difficult fights and the areas dont look very bright and arent that different to each other. 300 quests at very similar looking areas with difficult bosses can be tedious.

@@user-zy4tb8jd1t Bro what are you talking about, Khrysalis is so unique it's comparable to Lemuria with the amount of different areas. Also, what's the biggest problem with PVE? The fights are all brain dead and you just blade AOE, hard fights should be a plus. Khrysalis does so much right it should be longer! 300 quests so what? Do you like the game or not? If you're speed questing and trying to get max level as quick as possible you are playing the game wrong.

Would you say side quest wise the xp was worth it? I still have over half of Azteca left and I’m lv 87. I’d like to be as close to lv 100 as possible before finishing khrysalis part 1

Your rankings are actually super accurate so far ngl. I just got to Azteca about a week ago and I’m finding it very difficult to even want to be there at all lol. It’s got a a similar vibe to Zafaria which I also wanted to kill myself questing through and I’d rather be doing literally anything else in the game than standing in either world for more than 10 seconds. But watching this review got me a little more excited to just suck it up and get through it because this world seems a little bit more fun and interesting…

I dunno if I’m missing any spells but as a pyro I’m pretty sure you only get sun serpent which I mean it’s pretty cool but it’s not a better option than dragon or efreet (I really tried lol). Sharpen is cool and very useful though. You get king art once you finish which is cool but I dunno if that counts lol. I dunno I just don’t like jungle vibes I guess. I just didn’t like being there lol

I recently speedran through the first arc through zafaria, since the game was free was pretty interesting seeing what I didn’t do as a child. I did it all in about 4-5 days, got to level 67 on an ice wizard. Made some new friends, and it was pretty nice. And I must say I do enjoy the content good luck with the next worlds if you continue to do the entire game. Especially lemuria as I’ve heard it’s insanely hard to beat

honestly khyrs was hardest lol, all arc 3 and 4 worlds were easy for me. once you get mali gear its a wrap and dragoon and merciless just further makes it more a joke

As someone who just returned back to the game and restarted my journey in the first half of Azteca, the journey through there and into Khrysalis tested my will power more than most games have. Enjoying the series, hopefully I run into you on my own quests!

Now, as for my ranking for Khrysalis... The musics are good, even goregous. Certain parts of the world are as beautiful as azteca's *(people generally just don't look around)* , and the characters are absolute beasts *(Ghost Dog, Morganthe, Old Cob, Dyvim are some of them, probably the main ones)* The world is long, yes, but not only my previous points stand until the last quest of the world, part 2 is actually fun and cooler!! This world also gives you access to shadow spells, Darkmoor, and finally, the story is a masterpiece. It's far from being the S tier that is Dragonspyre and Mirage for me, but it's definitely an A tier in my POV. I do appreciate your efforts though, Zeritt, for making these videos and don't worry we won't quit even if it takes you moons to make a video, especially in that "*gon' be in the next Mega Mickey drop"* that killed me.

I absolutely LOVE Khrysalis!!! Fun fact, Ghost Dog is a reference to the movie of the same name by Jim Jarmusch which stars Forrest Whitaker as a NY Mafia hitman who follows the way of the samurai as outlined in Yamamoto Tsunetomo's Hagakure :) Great movie!

C tier is absolutely disgusting. Khrysalis has by a far margin the best story development with Morganthe, every time I play through Khrysalis I feel like I'm a rogue mercenary helping a rebellion and chasing down a tyrant and her minions. Not only that but a beautiful setup for arc 3. Khrysalis has the best gameplay development with the introduction of shadow magic which while it might seem like an old gimmick at this point was absolutely game shaking and exciting at the time. AND It has by far the best theme of any world. In a single world there are tons and tons of new enemies, unique bosses, interesting NPCs (Dyvim Whithart is the best character in the game), interesting places and absolutely breath taking art, I mean just look at the shadow palace and tell me another world that compares. Overall, if you think that Khrysalis is anything below A teir (It should be S tier) you are probably a try-hard boring wiz fan who's only into pvp and hate the world because it's "too long". If you were really a fan of wiz you would complain Khrysalis is too short because it takes everything good about the game and does it perfectly.
