I to this day do not get the Celestina hate. I love it, it’s fascinating and builds intrigue throughout. I also love the contrast between this unique fallen alien civilization and the floating lands.

I don't understand the Karamelle criticism about the dark and gloomy sections. The point of the world is that Nana created this happy go-lucky facade about the town and her company to hide the deplorable things she was doing in the background, which is what is uncovered when we get to the "dark and gloomy" areas. It makes perfect thematic sense to me.

Literally came to the comments to say this. Karamelle being so gloomy and dark is very much the point. It's a corporate dystopia. They nailed the vibe they were going for 100%. Doesn't mean you have to like it, but it's definitely delivering what was advertised imo. Still the worst world in arc 4 though lol

I mean... if you actually listen to what he says, he clearly states that the problem he has, is having a bunch of gloomy areas in world's like Karamelle. A place that was based off of willy Wonka and candy land.. karamelle is a bit disappointing ngl

Love this list :3 and also happy to see Azteca getting some due respect. I've been playing since roughly when the world first came out so to this day the story and the aesthetics are still so amazing. Maybe we'll finally get a part 2 to Wysteria so it can actually compete with Grizzleheim as far as side worlds go.

Hot Take: The labyrinth isn't that bad because while it does have some issues (the placement of the Stone Rose and Obsidian chest, the fact that life has to visit this place for their level 58 and myth for their 48 spell and have to play through almost all of the dungeon to get their spell so it's always best to get to level 48 before doing this dungeon if your myth but if your life at level 58 it shouldn't be too hard and the fact that the wizard is an idiot since he basically gives someone he knows is dangerous his powers back and then fights him) I overall don't think it's that hard to play through (keep in mind I tend to be as over-leveled as possible when I play so that might factor into this) but I really don't find it hard or tedious to get through despite it having the issues above that I brought up and that I won't even try to refute. 20:30 The only XP you get is with two side missions from Snorri Otsterbloom (who is about to appear on screen), for whom you get 1200 XP each for his two quests. 22:26 I do hate how it's basically impossible for you to get the Zeus gear (not senator gear) in Mount Olympus and that's really annoying whenever I start a new character and get it to level 30 (and it does tie into a greater issue I have with the game that is that there's a ton of farming and grinding in this game, to put it very mildly).

Sadly hated this world and with no help with the final boos if finally just quit. Sadly stil not nerfed after how many years. Sheesh thought this was for kids.

Personally I think Krok is put too low as well as Wysteria because I love the idea of going to other places for schools in the game it's purpose it great for the idea of world building While I agree their additions story wise aren't incredible being 20th and 18th I think they were is low key a crime imo

Tbh I felt a lack of quality after Empyrea. The end of Empyrea and Mirage for me were ICONIC, really beautiful areas, and then when you go to end of Lemuria, Novus and Walluru, the final boss fights does not even feel like a final boss fight. Also the areas, nothing special. You said Lemuria was lazy, I had the same feeling for the whole arc 4 (maybe except Karamelle). Mirage and Empyrea you could at least see something different.

Something I will give the newer worlds is that for the most part, at least they figured out that making endless, identical streets hundreds of feet long isn't fun.

Bat turning good was actually dope, it was supposed to be the second generation helping their parents heal and also repeating history. Mellori for raven, bat for spider, us for bartelby. Also has a message of not letting a poor upbringing change you into a terrible person

Khrysalis(My #2) and Novus(My #1) are peak worlds to me so I am so happy to see them in the top 3. I completely agree about Dasein's story wrapping up too quickly in Wallaru. I feel like the world missed the mark in a lot of places and I wish the finale of arc 4 was Novus part 2 instead, just like how Empyrea and Khrysalis were 2-parters
