It’s definitely the better thing that’s come from all this. She will save other cars and live on. Haha yes jackmans amazon is very different to mine for sure so having them both on the channel will be ace. I would love an amazon wagon one day.

You should save the front right outer wing and rear left body window and bonnet to hang on the wall in the workshop Edit Nevermind about the rear body window

We did think this but, decided against it in the end just because it would be a reminder but we do have the grill and crushed number plate ready for the wall.

Great to see that you are saving much of the parts, i also have a 940 classic wagon and i thing the engine (B230FK in my case at least) is a non interference engine so it would probably have been fine even if the belt would have snapped. Putting the engine in the Amazon seems cool.

Yea we tried to save as much as we could. Yes that’s a saving grace that the engine is a non interference engine. Still mad that it still ran and drove after that accident. Stay tuned as soon as we clear some projects we will be back on with the restomod amazon. Cheers for watching 👍

Although it did bend the chassis rail slightly, amount of damage to the main structure was small compared to its initial appearance. It did it's job well in protecting you and had it been an even worse impact would have stood up well for a car with it's origins in the early 80's.

Bloody hell what a shame! I've had a 760 estate and now I have a V90 from 1997. I'm so pleased with that car, have got it from 2010. If such a thing would happen to it I would pretty much feel the same. Engine in Amazone? I would be very interested!!! Got an Amazon Estate with an automatic gearbox, and that is not really a pleasure to drive because of the revs... so yeah I would be greatly interested in that build!
