That breakdown in Raitei is simply brutal. You are hard pressed to pick out a favorite musician, if that's your thing, because even in a song with a lot going on each one shines. These are all top shelf musicians and performers. They blow me away every time they perform no matter the venue. And they are tighter than tight. When their covers seem like they belong to them you know they have figured out who they are. And it shows in every little thing. We have years of great music to look forward to from them.

Murata-tamu is one of the most in-demand session drummers in Japan, male or female. She has played a lot of fusion, which is another level altogether. You should check out her studio-live duet with Senri Kawaguchi--it's phenomenal.

It's kind of funny--in their heyday, Maiden were the state of the art in technicality and speed. Things have come a long way--these ladies look like they could play this in their sleep. Raitei was a perfect follow up--it lets you see what they are like when they really crank it up.

Hey welcome back to Nemophila! Their covers are so awesome. I was lucky to see them perform The Trooper live a couple weeks ago in Texas. The girls played it instrumental while Mayu took a break. The crowd sang along. Awesome show. If you like Maiden try watching their cover of Aces High. Superb IMO. Hazuki sings backup on the chorus to Mayu and they sound great. So many of their originals and covers you have not seen. They just released a new song "RISE" a few weeks ago. Today they released a live version of their song"Now I Here". A slower ballad but very good and beautiful. Hazuki and Saki soloing in that is amazing yet again. Great reaction again. Hope to see you react to more of this kick ass band.

You picked up on Saki’s; I believe Marshall, stack. She saw it in a market and just needed it. Frankly, it has become one of the ways I can tell if it’s a Japanese recording. When touring, they rent equipment as there is a significant cost to transport the amps and drums across an ocean. Of course Tamu Murata (drummer) is a signed representative of Tama drums (and cymbal company I’m unsure of), and Saki has her own signature guitar with Killer guitars, so they can’t play anything else as Nemophila, but the manufacturers have their back. Great song/s and reactions.

Saki's laughing about it is also great. Love these ladies. How about 2 songs that will take you on a different journey. When I saw them live, the song STYLE had such a nice groove. Their song HYPNOSIS is just a great experience and I think you will enjoy Tamu letting loose a bit on the drums.

I believed "The Trooper" can never be "The Trooper" without the unique voice of Bruce Dickinson before I heard this cover. Her voice is special. You should try their covers of "Shout at the Devil" and "Youth Gone Wild," I had never thought these songs could be good without the voices of Vince Neil and Sebastian Bach.

Your probably a little young for this, but for me Mayu's voice is a wonderful mix of Joan Jett, Pat Benatar and her own style sprinkled in. Perfect female rock voice. Then Tamu on drums is incredible. She has these same rehearsal videos on her personal channel except its all "drum cam". She also has other drum cam videos of sessions she has sat in that are of the different genres. Really worth checking to see her versatility.
