honestly for my own 2 cents; I think seeing a stomp like this is fun every once in awhile; because not every game I play is gonna be close either. Seeing a 1 sided game too often might be unhelpful; but the occasional stomp still has entertainment/educational value.

I honestly think this video was EXTREMELY informative on how much pressure mid creates and how valuable camps for jgs are in the early game. It's been a while since I've played mid since I've transitioned to bot now, but one of the most important things I think midlaners have to do is keep track of the enemy junglers, almost as much your own jungler. As a midlaner, you always have to be ready to rotate to drags, heralds, jg skirmishes, and just keep track of the enemy jg as a whole. The entire lane's built on pressure, which is why getting mid towers is usually more valuable than bot or top towers. One thing I haven't done as a midlaner is fuck with the enemy jungler's camps. But this video just shows how just getting one camp and one kill is so detrimental to the enemy team's jungler. Plus, we all know that jg is op, so the more behind the enemy jg gets, the better. Especially if they struggle early like evelynn. And you did that because you built pressure by poking the Cassiopeia out of lane. Fucked two lanes in one move basically XD. I know you don't like stomps, but I honestly think the first five minutes of the game were so informative in how creative you can get as a midlaner in order to build pressure and use it to your advantage. Literally, the only reason I've stopped playing mid is because Jinx isn't too great in mid, but I would so implement this in my next mid game for sure. Also, at 13:05, I mean, you WERE right. It did go through the wall XD. Just not in the right direction, which I thought was funny. XD And I don't know why you remind me of so many funny and cute memes, but I instantly thought of the little girl's voice saying "What da hell. Da hell." when you reacted XD Keep up the good work Pekin. Really enjoyed this video, so thanks 👍

This is one of those videos that really shows how a few early invades can really effect the state of the game, especially on punishing an enemy jungle who really needs to farm in order to scale and carry. The tricks Syndra can do with her stun too are also some fun things I never would've known about. I've wanted to try her out, so this is a really good video, stomp or no stomp!

I like all your vids pekin, you have great commentary and a lot of great tips. You talk a lot about how you appreciate feedback from your viewers, so I wanted to give you three things I find most valuable that I look for in your videos. You obviously talk about a LOT more than just these things in your videos (which is why I appreciate it), but these 3 things are what I (and most noobs) focus on the most because laning phase is so important in low elo (and you definitely hit most of these points in most videos, but not nessesarily): 1) tricks, tips, and big idea things about how to play your specific champion in order to beat their specific champion 2) big idea things about what you should be trying to do to beat the specific champion with different archetypes of champions (assassins, poke mage, battle mage, etc) 3) same as 2 but what different archetypes should be doing to beat your specific champion It’s a lot to go over every game, and obviously it’s hard to commentate while playing, but I think this is what a lot of people are looking for. The motivation for these questions is the following: I want to be better at landing phase against specific matchups in mid, and when I watch one of your videos I want to walk away better prepared against your champ mid and against the enemy mid champ, even though I might be playing a different champion in my own mid games against the champs I see in your videos (hence the emphasis I have in archetypes). For instance, if I watch a video of you beating Cassiopeia as Syndra, I would like to walk away better understanding how to play against Cassiopeia as syndra, how to play against syndra as Cassiopeia, how to play against syndra as as many archetypes as your willing to talk about, and how to play against Cassiopeia as as many archetypes as your willing to talk about. The reason for the last two points is that I don’t play syndra or Cassiopeia, but I want to walk away with useful knowledge about them so I can beat them with my mid champs :D I would even recommend branding your titles more along the lines of “how to beat yasuo,” “challenger shows how to crush X with Y”, “Challenger breaks down how to beat X”, etc. Tbh the reason I put all this detail into this comment is because I just got crushed by gold yasuo as viktor (and I was motivated to play viktor due to one of your recent vids) and I wanna know how you would play against yasuo as viktor and as all archetypes of champs xD

Definitely keep rolling through game stats even in a stomp. Even if you have nothing else to teach then game chat is often comedy gold.
@Josh-992 жыл бұрын
He can't. You lose KZbin algorithm "points" if people leave your videos early. So you need to make sure that you end a video before people would jump out, which they absolutely would most of the time if the game is a total stomp. That's why he ended once he didn't have any other tips and tricks to show.

@BrokenFortuna2 жыл бұрын
Pekin, this is more of a general thing, but I really appreciate how you create your content. It's addictive to watch full games that are also educational since there's always something one can learn from a challenger. I like how calm you are while playing the game and don't let tilt get to you. Plus, I think it's great you upload both victories and losses since only then the games are actually interesting. It's interesting to see a stomp like this once in a while. I'm looking forward to more Syndra games in the future because I love her even if she's D tier so I'm excited to see how you make her work and make her consistent.
@Tov4n3LL1X2 жыл бұрын
Syndra’s W resets the orb timer only in the first cast, so if you grab one and keep it there without throwing it its timer is ticking. As for the E, it doesn’t refresh the timer, BUT it stops it for roughly one second (basically to prevent the orb from disappearing mid-flight), so it is useful to pull off a 7-orb R without cdr

Love your work Pekin An idea i had is to do a compilation almost of your stompy games but instead of including the whole game, you can speed through and show the key things that led to the stomp, like in this video the level 1 back on cass as well as the invade on eve. This way the stompy games won't go entirely wasted and you can still get content from them.

I constantly am thinking about constructive criticism ever since I saw you reply to a comment on someone else’s vid about how hard it is to get useful advice. I know you're not a big fan of posting stomps like this, but I think it's fun to see a video like this every so often (1-2x a month?). I can't speak for others but I'm really interested in learning what technique you used to land those early Q's on Cass. Was it her just stepping up too much? Were you using trading stance? (guaranteed skill shots I think you called them in your guide?). Other than that I'm just commenting for the algorithm.
