This video was just on time! Lately I’ve been finding myself getting distracted from doing my Quiet Times and Prayer with God on a daily basis. Thank you guys for the reminder to take a minute and remind myself that Jesus did not fit dying on the cross into his ‘’schedule’’ he just DID IT so I should do the same when it comes to giving Him time!! Great word!

Procrastination and laziness is definitely a big one for me. I can ask God to bless me, pray for my goals to be completed, or ask for favor in situations to move forward in life but I expect him to do it all without me doing my part. I have to constantly remind myself that faith without works is dead. I have to be able to meet him part of the way in order to receive the promises he has for me.

Yes, we are really on one accord! I just posted a video on social media being a distraction and tips to prioritize and remember what's important. Spending time with God is so important. It's essential for our lives and it's easy to get caught up if we're not careful. Great video will and dom!

We are definitely distracted by everyday life, (Which is a Trick of the Enemy) that's exactly why it's important to Stop, Fast and Pray and Set time aside for just God and specific things and People. We get so caught up with business as usual and the important things go lacking

My thoughts can be a distraction for me because sometimes I can be praying, and then I instantly think about everything in that day I have to do, and get side-tracked!! Hi Everyone , Matt here. Happy New Year 2021, or maybe for other parts of this world, another year to come. I pray for all who have having it hard with Covid at the moment. Just thank the Lord that you are alive and well, and that God has put you on this earth for a moment just like this. I believe (people can either like or dislike what I am going to say but I am just going to say it), technology has been a huge distraction for my life. I started playing Gems of War on my smartphone 2-3 days ago just to do something different. I'd realise that my game playing was keeping my focus on the game and not on Jesus. Yes I am commenting on KZbin for now, but I am going to continue to walk with God in this new year 2021, praying out to God, playing out loud Christian music outside my home and do prayer walks around my local area. I live in West Auckland, NZ by the way. I do want to encourage every believer in the world, don't put your focus on KZbin or social media in fact. God wants you for you, not what you do. I used to focus on all the end time videos and events that are now taking place worldwide on KZbin, but now when I did that, I was not spending time with the Lord and growing my relationship with Him. Look I understand, we are living in a "Digital age" where technology is all around us and we can talk to friends via our phones, tablets, etc. Make sure that you spend time first with the Lord. Make sure that your priority is with Him, then continue to walk in the Lord with what the Lord has gifted you with or spending time with friends, etc. I encourage you all to be prayer warriors if this what the Lord has gifted you with. Whenever and wherever you are, we can all pray to God for anything, whatever is on your heart, God will always hear you, whatever you say or pray to God, he will hear you talk to him, if you are willing to respond to Christ on what He wants you to do, if that makes sense. I pray for you all this year, that no matter what happens in this life, live like each day will be your last. Only the Lord will know when this earth will be transformed in His Eternal Kingdom, not us. The Lord will sort all those who have stuck to the faith and those who have followed the "worldly" ways so to speak. If you don't have any specific prays, there are heaps in the Bible, look at Psalms, there are many that you can pray out to God with, 1st and 2nd Chronicles there are prays you can use when King Solomon was praying to God in His Temple and there are lots more that you can use. When you are in your quiet times, if you don't have anything to say to the Lord, just be quiet and let His Spirit take over. He will know what you need right then and there. Sorry for the long comments. Just sharing my own thoughts about this year. Keep living for God to the best you can. Pray for the front line workers in the UK and parts of world who are dealing with Covid 19, especially with the new strand that is out there. Thank the Lord that you are alive and healthy, while others might be hospital just barely living. Don't worry, we all will look to a "New Heavens and New Earth," where there will be no more pain, suffering, no more diseases, no more governments, no more divided nations, no fighting, no more wars. All of us will have to give to account for what we do in this life before Christ, no matter what ethnicity or background or what different beliefs people have around this world, ALL are going to give an account before God that is even myself. Trust in Jesus with your life, and give Him your best this year. Yes COVID will be with us for sometime, maybe forever until Jesus comes back. I hear this vaccines is a means all cure all and that "this world will just go back to normal". I just don't buy into that. We are seeing Bible prophecy come to play here in our world, and Christ will have the final say to this very earth on what will happen to it. Brother in Christ Matt

WOW! @ WILL & DOM, Thank you for being obedient to God's calling for your lives. My husband and I are truck drivers, we team drive. I'm always getting on to him about listening to stuff without substance, like the Breakfast Club, etc, all the things you mentioned in this video. That being said I'm just as distracted as he is. I'm all for the message but why the type of music chosen? For me that was a distraction. I would think that gospel music would have been more appropriate in this case. Ijs
