The way I see the cheaper builds is not everyone can afford a $20,000 vehicle. I think Scott does a great job of making a affordable car for people that can only afford x amount on a vehicle. Some may see this as a waste but this will make someone a great car whether this is someones first car or a affordable second car. I wish there was someone like Scott 37 years ago when I was looking for my first car.

A man who runs out of ratchet straps cannot really call himself a man! I really am enjoying watching you waste your time saving this old Pontiac. Watching you reinstall that rusty junction box bracket onto that freshly painted inner fender well was sooo satisfying! I could hear the clean freaks wailing all the way over here! I do miss the Pontiac brand though, after all they DID build excitement!

I really enjoy these videos of you working on older model cars, very nostalgic but I do have one complaint this time, I wish you would've painted the bracket that holds the junction/fuse box, the engine bay looks soo nice painted and clean and that rusty bracket looks horrible, other then that, great videos, can't wait for the next one

When I was in high school these cars were new and always wanted a Grand Am Gt I ended up with an Se but they were great cars they drive really nice and they are powerful, today I feel like buying one just because I see that you fix them and leave them like nothing happened I think there is still hope, just change all engine gaskets and those things will drive another 100k miles!

I bet they ran a bigger wire from the alternator to the starter and removed both before selling the car (common practice with high power stereo, part of the Big 3 upgrade)

I respect the N body emporium you have assembled. My emporium was A body Oldsmobiles. Once you tear apart 3 or 4 and pass the "learning curve" it no more trouble than mowing the lawn.

@@geoffgay3637- Same here, I put together a White 2004 Grand Am GT coupe recently. It had rear end damage, & as keeping with the theme, my name is also Scott. My Pontiac Emporium is also filled with different parts. I have parts from Grand Am, G8, & G5 cars respectively. The GA was $500 from Copart, & $300 from Scott's Pontiac Emporium. All in I spent only $800 for the car, with only 108K miles. The weird thing is I had to get tires, & they cost almost as much as the whole car cost all in. FYI: if you going to do brake work, you need ALL 4 brake bleeder to make sure that you can open them. I seen brake bleeder brake OFF, and they are so hard steel i could not drill it out. I had to get a new brake caliber.
