Found this channel and series on accident while looking for some inspiration to get on my 11 Chev 340k rebuild 😂😂 Very nice truck Came out great ! Some of the best looking trucks GM ever made imo- I have a complete classic Meyer plow that I restored down to the last nut and bolt with that exact mount that would look beautiful paired on that truck if your interested 👀 Rebuilt it to go on an 06 that ended up in a ditch days before I was supposed to buy it 😅

You did not have to remove the a/c sir. I own this exactly same car. Mine as well do the crank seal pcv system re seal the valve cover and change the oil cooler o-rings. Then shes good to go for many more miles.

You can purchase a vehicle like this if you can do the work it needs yourself. But if you had to pay a mechanic to do all the work. Most likely it would cost more than the vehicle is worth.

The peel had me a little upset. I always leave the plastic on as an extra layer of protection. Especially when it's as perfect and bubble free as you had. Granted I also have a 6 and 3 year old so that may influence my decision a bit.

Ive watched i think every video you have in the foxbody section of your channel to prepare myself to do very similar repairs to my 93 gt hatch i was hit by a dump truck in right before Thanksgiving last year. Ive got nearly 20 yrs in maintaing, modifying, restoring and just generally working on these cars, but ive never done any collision repairs. All that being said I really do appreciate the level of detail and reasoning you put into every move you make in the process. Id like to ask you a question, i was hit in the rear quarter and it unfortunately damaged the corner of what i think would be called the upper tub? The panel that goes across the whole back of the car that the lights and top bumper bracket bolts in to. The damage is confined to maybe 4-5 inches of that specific panel, would you replace that entire panel or just section out like a quarter of the tailight panel? In my mind the right thing to do would be to replace the whole panel, but another part of me says thats a whole lot more work lol. I dont know if youll even see this message put id pay ya for a response if i could, lol, keep up the good work!

Hey Scott, this was the best video I have seen from you so far. I was a mechanic for over 50 years, I taught my son and daughter how to work on cars, now I get to teach my grandchildren. Keep on doing what your doing.

Scott, loving your channel especially the scammer auctions. Please, pretty please do more. Also the girly scream when you drive down the trailer ramp and of course "click tightened to manuf.'s specs" are the favorite part of the videos that I really enjoy along with the sarcasm that only you can dish out. Keep up the great videos. D. Coop Charlotte, NC
