Okay, I'm going to be honest here: you thought this was bad, but honestly this is, IMO, a perfect representation of what TTTE could be if the age gate got raised a bit. I really liked Donald and Douglas in particular in this episode - the Twins were always a favorite of mine, and whoever voiced them did a damn good job of capturing their Scottishness.

This one felt like a major regression, especially considering the calibre of Episodes III and IV. It started off on a good note; the new production intro thingy was well-made, and matches well with the intro itself. It was especially beautiful; some of those shots looked like they were ripped directly from TV. The shots of the Sir Topham Hatt model from the series were a little intrusive, though. And the story. Dear God, the story was bad. First of all, I feel like this exact basic plot was an actual episode of the TV series. I can't honestly remember, but I feel like the Scots Twins being stuck in the snow is something I've heard before. Second of all, this story was extremely immature. Urinating on the snow? Farts saving the day? This might fly on modern-day Cartoon Network, but not as part of Thomas. It wasn't all bad; the censoring of the cursing was funnier than the actual cursing. It just needs work, and a lot of it. Diesel was great, though! Always glad to see that conniving bully, especially doing menial labor; it makes him more real. Bullies aren't always bullying, after all. He was well-performed, as well, though the audio quality could use some work. Still not a fan of the James voice. Overall, this one just feels like a let-down compared to the previous three episodes. The script was immature, though the characters were all close to themselves, and it was shot brilliantly. It really proves there's no saving a bad script. It's obvious you have talent and skill, and that you're capable of producing quality work, just that you're stuck trying to please the cronies of KZbin at this point in time. I can't wait to see if you get past your "Must please KZbin" phase.
