While Joyce is right about people having places to go, you're also right that people have no interest in public playing. You do have a very few weak spots that you need to work on. It's best not to play the entire song. But just focus on where they are and practice those until you can do it properly. I've played that song for 19 years. Yet I've played the piano for 22. So just slow down while you play the song. After you have worked on that. Then you'll play it perfectly.

Yeah, I sort of was astounded by that, too. I have been to that airport for connecting flights several times and I always stop if I have a couple minutes or more to listen and throw a 5$ bill into the collection pot. These guys not only perform well at such a young age, they also do this in a public place where so FEW people can appreciate or do ever appreciate what they are doing. This guy is amazing at 13...imagine him at 18-20-30... I hope he's rich and famous by then, getting a good start in such a "hostile" rushed environment as an airport.

Why would anyone give a dislike to this young man's public video performance? It was great, it probably entertained many people waiting in the airport and his performance made him happy, gave him confidence and probably inspired other people to put themselves out of their comfort zone to show their talent in public.

OMG! I'm 14 now and I played that one or two years ago for a recital, so I must have been 13! what a coincidence. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be faster though unless I played it completely wrong at my recital. And I can feel you with those mistakes on the left hand. THE JUMPS, It's one of the first pieces that really challenged me, even Alla Turca wasn't this bad. But get it faster and it'll be great. You'll probably improve a lot after this, I'm learning Fantasie Impromptu at the moment, and I'm just chilling on yt instead of practicing, I wish you the best.

Most people play it fast despite the fact that Joplin actually wrote on the original score 'NOT FAST'. This lad is slightly on the fast side of perfect.

You'd honestly think that people were programmed to walk on by if anything entertaining that smacks of the good old days encroaches into the public square. As someone who travels every now and then, this performance of The Entertainer would have given weary old me a huge lift, even a spring in my step. Who needs coffee? Any top live performance of this tune would be an opportunity to stop and savour it, if one could. But here! I think most people wander around with their accursed headphones on listening to rap. Bring back the good old tunes. Please! And very well done, young man. Keep playing that piece. It's a sliver of civilisation.

A bit of a shaky start, but pretty smooth after that. Some understandable bum notes, but a really nice steady pace. So many people rush ragtime. Playing for random strangers is never easy either. I've just started learning this after not mastering maple leaf to any stretch of the imagination, and I struggle with just the intro, so props to this young man. Well done 👍
