Just so everyone knows the heat per location varies like crazy. The heats consistent within each location but way different to one from a different location so take what he says with a grain of salt if your gonna choose your heat level based off what he says

Medium is right we're I like to be. I think the hot just goes heavier on the cayenne. Medium you get some heat but you can taste a subtle sweet taste from the paprika.

I’ve only had Dave’s when I’m at work, so I’ve only gone as hot at “HOT” spice level. My coworker tho got the reaper and he said it’s not that hot. But he also eats Thai chilies with his breakfast every morning. For me hot was pretty hot.. the first time but now it feels like Tabasco level heat 🤷‍♂️

I just tried this in Algonquin, Illinois. The dust on the outside of the chicken is unbearable to eat unless it’s on a sandwich. I was so hopeful that this would be good. The orange sauce was a letdown too. The fries, however, were awesome. Buona Beef has a much better Nashville hot chicken and GREAT orange sauce too. I was in Nashville a few weeks ago and went to Hattie B’s which was really good too, supposedly the standard.

Did you proceed to pour Dave’s sauce on each tender or was that cheese sauce? I’m just confused b/c i thought you said you could taste the vinegar in the sauce, but maybe i missed something 🤷🏻‍♀️ i personally like to dip the tenders in the Mac. It must’ve been the location b/c the Mac I got was piping hot, well seasoned & so creamy like the macaronies were swimming in creamy cheese sauce. 🤤 🤤
