I am still fascinated by Cyrus the Great and Darius I. They created social structures that had never been seen before in Western Civilization. It's too bad that more isn't known about these individuals. The rest of the history is pretty much about who conquered whom, and the parade of cultures that crossed back and forth through this nexus between continents. All of which is very interesting, but I am still captivated by Persia's two earliest great rulers. They were truly visionaries as well as great military leaders - even today a rare combination.

(4) Even our great History Writer who has written books, Ahmad Ali Kohzad, believed as if the counterfeit Cyrus the Great had existed having Afghanistan as one of his Provinces (Satraps). (5) Now, it is proved and is clearer than the sun that the present {Iran} or {Persia} is the only Country that has no history. That is, their History is the History of the Conquering Tribes who have ruled upon them. Riza Shah was a Qazaq, the Qajaris were Turks, Duranis and Azad Khan were Afghan, Afsharis were Turks, Hotakis were Afghans, Safavis were Turks, Timurids were Uzbek, Moguls were Monguls, Khwarizmi Kings were Turks, Saljuqis were Turks, Ghaznavids were Turk, Samanis were Balkhis, Abbasids were Arab, Amavids were Arab, Sassanids were Ishkanis or the Kurds of today, and finally Slokyans were Europeans. (6) Going through the dynasties, they ruled over Persia for about 1,500 years that is now erroneously called (Iran). During the whole history, nobody has seen any Persian or a present so-called Iranian to have ruled in Persia or Iran. They haven’t even had any uprising, revolt, or rebellion. It is because of this contempt, despise, and worthlessness that during the last hundred (100) years they have tirelessly been trying to forge books and create the counterfeit Achaemenids Dynasty for themselves to save their face that is absolutely not true. (7) Your problem with me is on this same point that you now want to allocate, earmark, and attach this Persian or present so-called Iranian false and fake story making to Pashtoons. And finally, the outcome of your efforts will confirm the forgery of the Persians!? (8) I will be very happy if you would work on your own achievements, glories, and majestic values during the Pashtoon/Scythian Civilization and Culture. As a Greek i must say that i really admire the Persians despite our fights (Persian invasion of Greece, Alexander the Great campaigns, Byzantine-Persian wars etc). The Persians formed several Empires in their lands and were always a great force in the Middle East.

You should add that the first university in the world was established in Persia, in Shapour Kingdom 242 AC. The university called "Gondishapoor" which they teached literature, science, chemistry, art, music, astrology, astronomy, physics, math, and .... in that university, and many people came from around the countries to study there. The source is of the book "University of Gondi Shapur in the Cradle of History" by M. Shahrvini MD.

The Iranian Battery (known as Baghdad Battery where it was found) was used by the Alchemist whom for centuries had been trying to create gold by mixing various metals and chemicals and they were always unsuccessful. They used the Iranian Battery (now displayed at a museum in Berlin Germany). They would insert a metal as core and fill it it with various acids (like lime juice) with copper wires to another piece of metal and they invented Electroplating.

There is some misleading information in this video about Iran/Persia's history, specifically regarding modern Iran and the Pahlavi dynasty. The most important fact is that Iran was neutral during World War II, but the Allies invaded Iran to use it as a route to defeat Germany. Also, Mossadegh was not elected by the people but appointed by the Shah. Almost everything you said about him was incorrect....

I’m no expert but I think some items here are inaccurate: Persepolis wasn’t built by Cyrus the Great but by Darius the Great a decade after Cyrus died; Cyrus was a local king and rebelled when Astyages pressed him as one of his vassal states; and I think calling the 80s Irak-Iran war the last episode of a long nomad-sedentary war is quite anachronistic. Overall, though, it’s a very nice explanation. Thank you!

Be aware of twists in history. Persians didn't burn Athens. It was done by Greek elites to turn people against Persians. During Xerexis, Pantheon was build by Pericles budgeted by Persons... Anyway, you have done well, but corrections can be done over time.
