@@prototypex8217 Her gameplay never really fit the average Valorant player regardless, just like cypher, which is why she was doomed with the low-pickrate-curse from day 1. I main her since back then and boy I can tell you she was way, way too overpowered : 5 stars and low cooldowns overall allowed to play her with or without brain. You could spread them all on site, and were likely to end up doing something good with one of them. You could even fake a site with all your stars and get them back insanely quickly, and abuse expensive combos like stun+pull [with higher radius than now] or the "fakesmoke catterpillar" (a line of fakesmokes that hide you as you walk through it) Top that with the gravity well's higher radius, which was likely one of the most controversial ability before Chamber's drama. Now, the nerf didn't really hurt her much at the same time. The main problem was that she required zero planification with her super low cooldowns and 5th star. Now, you simply better not forget your stars at the other side of the map, and cant afford to spam them.

In Act 3 to do some tweaks and balance out the map rotation, you can still play it in secondary modes like Deathmatch, Spike Rush, Replication, Escalation, Custom and the new Swiftplay mode However in Ep 6 Act 1 they will remove Breeze and Bind in order to add Split back along with the new map

I dont get the chamber hate honestly. If your pissed off with anything other then his OP then your just bad at the game. Chamber is a aim agent. Bad aim then chamber is not a good pick for you. But seriously nobody has a problem with neon. An agent that can run and gun with a 100% accurate death lazer that kills you in 1.5sec. Oh yeah almost forgot that she gets infinite slides and a 50% speed boost while in it too. Definitely not as OP as Chamber who has only 5 bullets, 1 tp per 30sec and slows down the enemy by 50% with his trip or after killing them with his OP. Perfectly balanced

Cause the issue with chamber is that once you climb up to diamond and above, p much everyone has good enough aim to use the pocket gaurdian and a free get away card on top of that makes him untradeable making the game a constant 4v5. Chamber was basically a pre nerf Jett with more fire power and was the perfect agent to use the operator cause even if you miss and don't have a TP you could insta switch to your gaurdian WHICH was broken. Whereas neon on the other hand in higher ranks is soo dogwater, it's not even that hard to hit her. A molly or slow counters all her abilities and funny enough her best best utility is her stun. Also If you watch Pro play you would find chamber in almost every game for a reason which is an indication of major balancing problem because he just negate all the other sentinels. Whereas why would you pick a neon over a raze or jett on maps other than fracture and most teams these days don't even play duelists, they'd rather go with double or tripple initiator with a chamber.

If neon isnt as OP as you say then i wont bother about her but all i can say is her ultimate is quite annoying. Chambers headhunter hasnt had its pullout time changed and nobody cares, not 1 person has asked why his headhunter instantly comes out. Chambers kit is like a duelist but atleast he cant flash? 1 trip and a 2 tps, also break the tps or pick them up and you have a cooldown is balanced. Compare Chambes kit to Skye, Yoru, Reyna, Raze. Then you can kinda tell that hes more of a "opportunity" agent as in if he gets the chance to do something he will do it. Yoru can tp plus they are invisible from a distance and they move. He has a decoy and 2 flashes. Skye has 2 flashes that she can control, a dog she can control to stun, infinite heals, and her ult cab track and blind enemys if they hit. Reyna has 2 blinds, lots of heals and can dismiss that can make her invisible in her ult. Raze has a grenade that can kill someone almost instantly, a boom bot that is a heat seeking missle that gets rid of 50% of your hp if you dont kill it and satchels that make her fly around the map add that to her ult and its almost a garenteed kill.

i feel like this year they just had to fix so many more bugs that updates were stifled, at least from a player perspective. Like the box sound bugs, or the yoru bugs after the update, and certain map walls being made of paper, or straight up not being there. It almost feels like everytime they drop a new gun set or agent the games breaks in some really terrible way. I hope they can optimize their code so that there are less bugs and integration in general is swifter and easier for them in 2023. TLDR chamber is a cringe agent and thank god for the nerfs.

It was inevitable and not going to be any different in the future. They added so much content in 2021-22 because they had been working on it before the game launched. People just assume that they can slap a new game mode or a new agent together in a few months when really it takes them years. The content that was planned before release is out, now they need new ideas and time to figure out how to make them. Hell they only just ran a test for Premier in Brazil recently, when development for that was announced almost 2 years ago.
