They are defending their kinsman, just as the Fulani defended Buhari. This is how tribalism has destroyed Nigeria. Why did the Senate suspend without investigation? He who alleges must prove, but there is no ground for him to prove. The leadership of the Senate quickly issued a suspension to cover the case. What he raised is a serious national issue that calls for a detailed investigation and should be made available to Nigerians before any action is taken. No one is surprised, and what do Nigerians expect when you have Akpabio as the Senate President? His track record is full of corruption, and he lacks all the qualities a leader should possess. @@etinlawrence Obviously discernment is not your thing. From my comment, is there any part that shows me defending your ‘bad government’ or your household? I gave my own opinion based on Senator Ningi’s false allegations that fell flat on it’s head. And it’s a fact based on his explanation on the senate plenary session yesterday, where he was asked to substantiate his allegations. He based his allegations and false finding mission an a fake text messages he received. His own words, not mine. And he admitted that he was concerned based on the fact that allocations to his constituency is smaller compared to South east 😮 Go figure! And when the evidence of the allocation of the 3.7 trillion that he claimed was padded was shown to him, he had no defence. He couldn’t present any evidence from the consultant that he paid 3 million to the senate. The irony of the whole thing was that he was part of the budget committee. It shows the whole purpose of his accusation is baseless and nefarious, hoping to cause unnecessary uprising. Look here, I have no horse in this race, mine is, he who comes to equity must come with clean hands.

It's clear that you lack discernment. In my view, I never questioned your household. I simply pointed out that those criminal senators in your corrupt government shouldn't pressure Ningi during plenary. His point was clear: he said he never accused the president of what the senators are trying to claim. 3 trillion naira cannot be accounted for because it was established but not allocated. Every item in the budget must be established and allocated to either a ministry, agency, or a State. He also alleged that the addition of 1.7 trillion naira to the budget by the National Assembly wasn't made known to all senators and denied knowledge of that addition. That itself is a fraud. Some fraudulent cabals can't just be squandering the nation's funds in the name of helping the president achieve his goals. Let them set up a committee to investigate. Let Ningi defend himself in the open, and let Nigerians add their voices to it. They are only trying to cover up by attempting to clear everything on the floor of the Senate in one sitting, Ningi still insisting that he can prove it and that's a national concern that those elements are trying to silence. Even a fraudulent Jimoh Ibrahim is talking tough. Nigeria is in a pathetic state. Those senators are confirmed accomplices to fraud, and that's why the country is in a state of squalor.
