I thought I was going crazy when the freaking Bio T. Rex appeared in RE 6, Leon's story is very believable, the freaking Dinosaur is levels of stupid that have gotten surpassed by the freaking: Umbrella: spending billions of dollars and test subjects to create the Ultimate Bioweapon. Some guy in Louisiana: Eats a fungus and shoots himself in the face, just to come back later and get cut into pieces, and then come back again into a big mold monster, and then comeback again as the freaking Swamp Man Resident Evil is stupid, but I love it 😅

He spent the last three years never questioning why he could just throw some herbs and chemicals on a severed limb and attach it back, or how he was able to fall from hundreds of feet onto solid ground and barely get the breath knocked out of him. It took his heart getting ripped out of him and a little fungus hallucination girl spelling it out for him before he understood. So basically he was a normal dude, who went to save his wife, got killed, infected with fungus, somehow became the only person ever know who could fight off the mutations and mental illnesses caused by a evil fungus, fought and killed a family of mutant-fungal-people (minus Lucas), then got a three year break before going to a random underdeveloped village ran by a cult, and killed 4 gods all while trying not to push himself past the human limit because he thought he was still human.

Ethan straight up didn't even know how to even wield a knife.

A good point is how different some viruses need to be to jump from species to species. As a virus gets further and further from its original they lose a lot of their strength and viability. So speaking scientifically the monkey while has the virus does not have a strong enough strain to be wilding mutating like the ones that go for humans. Its basically the same reason why the same question of why any character doesn’t immediately get infected you play as. As this is also true the further from the original strain you get the longer the individual has it while this seems to not apply for the more direct sources like tyants, some of the bosses with direct t & g strands etc and lots of the people who try taking over the world. Granted, berkin mentions a good point counter to this, even if a person cant be infected their is a tolerance level for those with resistances even if they are hard to infect. The same goes for the strong willed that there is always a limit if checked kinda treatment. However untreated individuals will always have mental degradation and this kinda explains why so many bosses go for basic stuff like “take over the world!” But do it in a very unsmart way or make bad choices granted this is for already infected individuals. There is also the very rare extreme special individuals who straight up just get powers out of the virus but even they have tolerance levels while differently more so in mental stability and health varying in the like 2 or maybe 3 cases this ever happens where some kinds of treatment or outside stability checking medication may be necessary. Resident evil is evil in how the virus jumps super fast on anyone not a sort main character… they have a resident reason thats also very technically weak bc like yeah man it can be so indifferent sometimes

I was really enjoying how dedicated you were being up until you got to Resident Evil 4. You start on RE4 at 38:21 and don't finish until 1:02:01 and for the life of me I can't understand why you decided to do a verbal step by step of every moment in the game instead of just giving an overview like you did with the other games. You can still give the relevant lore info without saying "and then, Leon fought a man with a bull head on and then walked through some mud..." etc etc I can't believe 1 hour into your video you devoted 22 mins to RE4 and squashed RE0, RE1, RE2, RE3, Survivor, Code Veronica, Dead Aim and Darkside Chronicles within the first 38mins.
