The presentation is very difficult to read.. The titles centered vertically are just a no go. The text is overlapping everywhere.

No, because the pipe is dumb. And ESB knows too much, but a central event bus is just a dumb pipe.

In this presentation: A dude who has never heard of views. And who thinks database tables contain "records".

if you look a bit deeper, you'll find that databases do indeed contain "records" and that it's a nice quip on that before SQL, there was NoSQL. looking atfred george's vita also hints that he might consider "views" too expensive to be worth mentioning. but then basically, this talk is about microservices and he spins a nice train of thought as of why some ended up with the "entity microservice" anti-pattern.
