I was literally just thinking this. I come back to this regularly and am always absolutely blown away. The man himself should be made to know of the existence of this tribute to his work. I feel like it would make him happy to see this tribute to his work plus Nobuo Uematsu is clearly a fan of prog rock so I think he would love this arrangement. God knows these guys deserve the recognition for the amount of talent, work and time that went into this video!

The transition at 4:50 and the timing of the swell at 6:00 gave me literal chills down my spine. I have appreciation for all VGM covers and interpretations, but that was quite probably the most impressive sequence that fit with visuals I have ever seen. How you only have a 30k views is beyond me, this is easily million+ territory quality. I am strongly looking forward to your interpretation of VII and IV if you ever so get to those.

It's hard to put into words how much FF8 means to me, it's a very dear game from my childhood and to this day I still have my original copy. It's easy to say that it's my favorite game and shaped a lot of my taste in video games today. So when I heard part 1 and nearly lost it from how fantastic it was, Hearing part 2, it's just breathtaking. You've done an amazing job and deserve more than a few thousand views. Thank you so much for bringing this outstanding soundtrack into a new light; Mr. Uematsu and his works certainly deserve it.

Marc and everyone involved in putting this together, this was truly unbelievable. FF8 has one of the greatest OST's of any game in history and this 40+ minute medley brought it to life in a way none of us could have ever thought possible. It's also crazy to consider that there's still great songs in the game that you couldn't fit into the medley (The Stage is Set, Premonition, Lunatic Pandora). Well. I've just recently discovered Marc Papeghin. When I discuss FF8, I always say that its story is a mess. Some things of FF8 made it fall behind other FF games. However, there are some things of FF8 that was simply amazing. Even to this day, after FF15, I always said FF8 had one of the best soundtracks when it comes to FF games. And this medley is so inspiring to play FF8 again. Like this is just beautiful. I couldn't sleep for 2 nights cause all I'm doing is listening to this. The ending is simply amazing. The blend of Eyes On Me into Fisherman's Horizon is, breathtaking. The emotion you get from it, the flow, the instruments, the vocals. It's such a powerful ending to an already amazing medley. Kudos to you guys... Kudos to you.

In the seven months you made people wait for the second part of the medley, your skills have undoubtably improved and so has the final result of this part. Really fantastic. Both parts one and two. No one else's FFVIII work remotely touches what you've managed to do. Listening to both pieces back to back makes for a a prog-rock concept album style listening experience. Also, you've really made Fisherman's Horizon your song. All these years later and still hoping for a full version of Eyes on Me. Seriously, gives me chills and I check this page and Michelle's all the time just hoping something might happen. I love the entire medley, but every time it gets to Eyes on Me, it's a punch in the chest. So good.

I have been waiting for so long for part two, so glad to finally be able to hear it! FFVIII is by far my favorite soundtrack of all time and I absolutely love your versions! I can listen to it for hours on repeat!
