I had an Epiphone Dot back in the 90s. I didn't care for it much. But the "IBG" Epi ES335 I've owned 5 months now has become my daily driver here in the livingroom. Fantastic axe!

I had an Epiphone Dot I didn't bond with so it found a new home. My friend still plays it. Since I have been hesitant to jump into this genre again, though some of these new 335 Epiphones are tempting. Maybe I should try a Casino. I bond great with my 125T/175T style hollow guitars. But 330/Casino guitars don't come with deals nowadays.

Epiphone seem to be killing it right now. Wanting to get one of these new Epiphones but there's so many models I'm interested in it makes it hard to choose. Great video as always Alan.

@@alansamsmusic prefer the sheraton 335's, with the vintage 50's warm pro bucker pick ups, but that 335 is a second favourite with me, for value 335's

I had one, it looked great, but I could never intonate the bottom e string properly and it didnt hold tune very well, so I sold it on and used the money to but an Epi Les Paul modern Pelham blue.

Just got the same guitar, having a tough time balancing the neck and bridge pickups. Any chance you could share your pickup height measurements? thanks man, great video!

I’ll take a look when I get home, but I haven’t changed anything on the guitar it’s all factory spec so if you need a info quicker you could always check out the factory suggestions from Gibson
