Thanks for the review, I actually bought this exact bass on my own first, and then watched a few reviews afterwards, I know that’s kind of backwards but really it just serves to solidify my purchase. I’ve played guitar and saxophone for many many years and I wanted to get into playing bass guitar. I don’t know a ton about bass’ but I can tell you that I love this instrument! It is just a real pleasure to play and sounds great in my opinion. I look forward to seeing some more of your videos !

Thanks for the review. I was having trouble making up my mind. Between the Pro 2 and the Player. I don't gig anymore, just jam with a few buddy's now and then, I think this is the better option. I have a Badass 2 kicking around to boot, so perfect. Incidentally what was the weight of your Player? I've heard it's possible to find them in the 8.5 lb zone.

@@mockchicken4432 thank you for watching the video. If I had to guess I’d say this one is probably in the 8.5 range. It’s comfortable not a shoulder breaker.

Thanks for the video. That’s a great jazzmaster and I would love to have one someday to go along with my performer honey burst telecaster. I’m a big fan of the necks, pickups and tuners on these performer guitars from Fender. I’ve had my tele for 3 years and it’s been solid as a rock. Don’t overlook these performer’s, they are good guitars. 🤞🏻

Sure all the way for its feature set - ebony fingerboard, satin neck, bone nut, locking tuners. I think it looks better as well.

The middle selection DOES NOT engage all 3 pickups unless you changed the wiring. It only uses the middle pickup. I know this is old but newbies might wanna know that is incorrect. Don’t believe me check the company site

Thanks for posting this. I sold my Ric collection years ago and need a 12 for some home recording now. Ah yes…the poor man’s Rickenbacker. LOL… I’m hunting for the Dano 59x12 model with a bridge pickup also angled crazy like the neck. It’s in a Vintage Cream - hard to find. Any tips?

Congrats on getting your dream bass. I have been looking at a couple of Spectors similar to that one. My question, if you isolate the P Pickup, how close to a Fender P Bass sound do you get? Good luck with your dream bass. Looks great.

Is the cabinet made with real plywood or particle board?
@alansamsmusicАй бұрын
@@discotex2236 I’m not 100% sure of the wood that they used, but I know the cabinet is really well built. I’ve had this for a few years now and I use it to practice with my band. Sweetwater has the cabinet weighing in at 33 pounds if I had to guess I’d say it’s heavier than that and it’s built like a tank.

So far, I've only got one Sire - the T7 - and that thing is ridiculously good. It just does the Tele thing perfectly. Has compensated brass saddles, roasted maple neck, locking tuners, gorgeous fit and finish, etc. etc. Less than $500 bucks from Thomann! Now I'm itching for an LP, so Sire is definitely at the top of my list.

I've got 8 Gibson USA guitars, a Heritage H-150 Std., and 2 Eastmans (an SB59 and a T-484), plus another Eastman SB59 being delivered today. The Eastmans are every bit as good and perhaps in some ways better than the Gibson or the Heritage. I'm still a Gibson guy at heart and if I only had one guitar, it would be a Gibson Les Paul, but Eastmans are kinda their own thing and are quite special. I was skeptical until I tried one, but I am now a believer.

I have no experience with the custom shop version, but my 2019 SG Special in aged Pelham blue is such a joy to play and gorgeous to look at. It's also the most resonant guitar I own. I couldn't be happier with it considering the price which was very affordable at the time. It's a pro instrument through and through. Custom Shop is wonderful but for those who hesitate to buy a Gibson USA SG Special for fear of it not being "good enough", let me tell you they are fantastic.

The 2 outstanding Eastmans, better than Gibson, the SB59 and the T486. Got them both, before the big price increases, even got the now not available Gold Top! Bloody magnificent guitars. Hint, overwrap the 59, it really comes alive. Going to put a set of Bryan Williams Pagey Double neck pups in, these things are spectacular, and of course 50's wiring. The 486 is awesome, just as it is. Sadly Eastman are now not the bargain they were. Although the 59tv is close, it is custom shop, heritage level, for half to third the price.

There were no set up issues. Except for the 10's on the guitar. My preference is 9-46.* 😉 *The guitar punches above its weight....or lack of weight. It has seen many gigs now and compliments my G&L S-500 nicely.*

Just got a gold burst T484 from Sweetwater a few days ago and I can wholeheartedly say that the hype about them is real. I have a number of Gibson USA guitars and a Heritage, and while they are very nice instruments (haven’t tried a Gibson Custom Shop yet), the Eastman is without a doubt the most perfectly crafted guitar I have personally owned and the setup out of the box is spot on. The case is one of the nicest I’ve seen, too. I love my Epiphone ES339, but the Eastman T484 is on a whole other level. It’s definitely a long term keeper. Might have to check out an SB56 or SB59 some time.

Great sounding bass. Back in the day, late 1970's, I had a P bass with a Bad Ass Bridge. I thought it was great. Then at some point, they made the Bad Ass 2, which was on the Lee bass. I tried to find out if you can get new BA 2 bridges and discovered you can't. I believe they stopped making them. The Geddy Lee bridge sounds fantastic.
