Bless you. According to the essene calendar found in the Dead Sea scrolls, today is Nisan 25, 5949. The essenes and the early church fathers taught that human history has 6000 years, and then 1,000 years of the millennial rain. I believe this to be correct which means at most we have about 51 years.

This books reminds me of the book of Hebrews. It has a lot of the Old Testament theme. I can see it was written to Hebrew believers. I thought that since Barnabas worked alongside Paul it would have had more of a Gentile flavor like the letters of Paul do.

I see this book and other books like this, as good history books. I don’t put them on the same level as scripture, I believe God would have put them in our Bible if it was to be on the same level as scripture. And we can compare it to the scriptures if it contradicts scripture, we believe the scripture . But It’s the same as reading a theology book today only better., As it is a part of that New Testament church written from the fully understanding perspective of Judaism of that day, also Barnabous would’ve had access to manuscripts that we don’t have today as this was written 2000 years ago. What a gem!

How could the Lord have removed his word inspired through his prophets and disciples?🤔 It wasn't the Lord's doing that these books were removed but rather the evil one ploy. These books were intentional removed due to deeper secrets scrolled in them. The revelation in these books shades lights to what happened in the early times after creation, leading to the destruction of the world during Noah's time and what was or is to come in the end times especially the Book of Enoch, Esdras, Jasher and the likes. I pray this scripture can guide as to why these books are being revealed at this present time I Corinthians 3:2 Shalom!

Hello, I suggest that you read the books. I’ve had also read the books of Nicodemus and Barnabas also book Adam and Eve. The book of Barnabas is really wonderful speaking of the sabbath instead of arguing with one another in the churches like the Sabbath being on a Friday Saturday or a Sunday even. The book of Barnabas makes it very clear, what the Sabbath actually is today.

I have not made it through all of this epistle yet, but keep in mind the sufficiency of scripture. We Protestants, Catholics, and Orthodox agree on the sufficiency of 4 gospels. Some verses are very easily misunderstood in this, but there is great wisdom and insight. So do not keep this at the level of our 4 gospels, but keep in mind the value of it

Ch 2:4-5 according to this writing- he abolished the new moons and sabaths? Wow!!! 🤦🏻‍♂️ The Master declared with His righteuos mouth COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Mat 5:17-18 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. In the TRUE SCRIPTURE above in Mattew it enforces twice the the Law (new moons and sabaths) THE MESSIAH has not abolished them AT ALL. He was working in his father Joseph carpentery setting they had, kept the Sabath otherwise ARE WE MAKE HIM WITH SIN? Knowing sin is the transgression of the Law! (1 John 3:4) This the traditional church worships, a "Jesus" that has nothing to do with the Law. WRONG!!! Why Sabath the Master is mentioning in Mat 24:20 one of the chapter of End times events? Could He have said something else instead of Sabath, if He intended to done away with it? "Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath." Mat 24:20 He expects us to Honor Him being the word the commandments of the Father. Have you thought why in 7 days creation of Elohim the 7th day the Father rested? We rest and honor sabath that the Father instituted to man kind, a everlasting law. Now man has authority to abolish an eternal Law, by church hypocrisy and traditions that Messiah rebuked in Mark 7, quickly to done away the commandments of the Father by their traditions, (sunday, christmas, easter) . One day is like a 1000 years the scripture says: 7 days of creation = 7000 years. According to hebrew calendar not the pagan gregorian the the church keps, we are in 5784 this year. The rest to us as the holy day by the Father is sabath. The millenuim year is our sabath, thats why those that keep His commands understand that the Father is giving us a glimce to what is coming. By the way how about the deseptiin of the church will be ruptured before anti-messiah cones. WRONG! Go and chech the Revelation 7- v.9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. If you believe in this book the you believe that Muhammad was the last prophet of God and the Qur'an is the final revelation from the Lord. It mentions the coming of Muhammad and says it was Judas that hung on the cross and not Jesus

You are confusing the Gospel of Barnabas (which is an Islamic forgery) with the Epistle of Barnabas (which this video is about). The Epistle of Barnabas along with The Shepherd of Hermas is in the Codex Sinaiticus. It is the oldest of the four ancient biblical manuscript.

The beginning narration, I totally disagree. Christianity isn't written in scripture. You guys have to stop this hijacking of scripture calling something the most High YAH and his Son didn't call his people. Christianity has a very dark past, and most of you don't know the history behind its invention. Please study and show yourselves approved. And don't misinterpret scripture to make it fit a cause. He never calls his people Christians NEVER...

I think if this book was actually written by Barnabas It should’ve been included in Cannon. That being said, I don’t think that it was, based on the information that I know, but when it comes to contradicting the Torah, books like these that weren’t included in canon often would be highly edited by Greek scribes especially considering that Greek scribes even changed out stuff in canonical books, so why wouldn’t they in books like these that weren’t necessarily included in canon.
