Harry Gregson-Williams did the music for all the Equalizer movies, but he also did music for Man on Fire & the Metal Gear Solid games, and there's just something about the track "Who Are You?" that gives me those vibes😊 In another universe Denzel survived at the end of Man on Fire and just changed his name to Robert. Hell honestly I don't think I'll ever need a metal gear movie either cause Robert McCall is definitely what Snake would be like if he and Otacon were just hanging out helping random people in the world. Everyone is talking about how deep some soundtracks goes. Maybe it's just me but to really feel soundtracks I can't just listen to it, or just watch the scene within the soundtrack. I have to watch the whole movie so that know, remember and understand what the character has experienced and gone through. Because all soundtracks hitting different at the end of the movies. Like Gladiator for example. And we still don't really know what happened to Roberts former wife and what he has been through and is still going through. The reason why I really like the equalizer movies (without the 3rd part) is the way of Roberts acting, behaviour and habits like his books but also his own tea bag which he has with him. The way he's helping people to reach some goals like being an security guy or make some own music. His way of helping his fellow human beings. there're many examples in the movies. It is a good action movie for sure but there's also the human side.
