So many wonderful photographs in this visit...that little kid crying in the wash tub broke my heart...was that Clark Kent standing on that public scale at 25:00?!---I thought you were unusually quiet on those two hunts, I suspected the heat was getting to you.---I did not know of the two previous hunts, so loved the re-telling of the twisted tree!

I went back to a “pounded” sports field not having any hope, but because of the dryness a was able to pull a Standing Liberty Quarter and a silver ring. I don’t have a new machine, an old Land Ranger Pro, but I see the weather changes do make quite a difference.

Regarding the flat brass circle you found by the river. Check to see if either a Nickel or a Quarter fits perfectly into the machined slot. When I was a kid I had a heavy metal WWI Cannon Shell that had been re-purposed as a bank. The top had a slot cut in it to put the coins in and the bottom was threaded on the inside. There was a flat brass circle that screwed perfectly into the threads just far enough to be the base. You opened it by using a Nickel or a Quarter in the slot to unscrew it and put it back. I recall it being heavy enough even without coins in it.

I think you will find threads on the side of that brass round plate. It is actually a clean out plumbing cover. Note the screwdriver notch in the top. Love the show... Keep it up! Ric Wilson

Congrats on your first War nickel Ezra! Nine Eagle I's is pretty awesome! There is nothing I enjoy more than going over the same ground and challenging myself each time. Congrats on the relics and those beautiful coins, Greg! I had no luck on patents for 1/30/1912 for a USR company 🤷‍♂I do concur that coins do ring-up higher in moist soil with my Nox 900 too. Like you said, it doesn't matter if it's a high tone!

Hey Greg, I'm semi retired at the moment so l don't start my Thursdays until l watch your video, that way if the rest of my day is a stinker at least it started on a high note. The Rosette may be an electrical outlet cover, the slot on the back was for using a straight blade screw driver. As always a highly enjoyable video.

Wow!!! That 900 seems to be doing an amazing job for you. I’m very impressed, I know you and Chris are very thorough and have hit places multiple times, and to still pull silver, buffaloes, and wheaties out is pretty impressive. Another great hunt and video as usual, I can’t wait to see what next week will bring. Happy hunting Greg!!!
