Not sure if this would be possible but we could do voting chess for 200k subscribers: subscribers vs agadmator where each move we vote and the most popular move is played.
@KingSlayer23326 жыл бұрын
That would allow engine usage
@georgehornsby20756 жыл бұрын
It would, but hopefully the majority of subscribers wouldn't do that and even if a few did select the engine move they should be outweighed by other non cheaters selecting moves they think are best. Also there isn't a huge incentive to cheat in a group game as there's no personal gain.

Just watched the series through again; and it's still brilliant! The Anand-Carlsen World Championship battles are such fascinating encounters, especially considering the Great Anand won the next Candidates to try to get his crown back. It's a story that is easily worthy to be included in the history of the chess world championship.

I remember watching this game online while studying at uni. The commentators were amazed by the accuracy and how he forced the queen exchange at the end as they thought Anand will put a lot of pressure on magnus. Everyone knew something special was happening

Vishy Anand won the candidates tournament in 2014 and played against Magnus Carlsen in the world championship a second time. I think that is pretty impressive, and he put up a better fight this time. I am happy to see him still playing in top level tournaments (Anand is the only one in the top 20 who is older than me), and he will participate in the online tournament "Legends of Chess" starting at July 21st 2020.

Hey agad! Been watching your channel for a long time now, but never looked at comments, just enjoyed the games and your commentary and analysis. I'm not sure how active you are here, but I had a question/comment. Is there any way to fit in the "time left when move played" when you are going rather quickly or even when you're going slow. Sometimes ill watch the full game, and be like "wow he went into so many deep lines", and then at the end you mention it was BULLET! If there is a way, I think just putting that "time left after this move" right above and below their pics would fit well! Think it would be a cool addition so we always know, and can sort of see how long each move took etc, or if it was bullet, how quickly such a move was made! Great work!

I'm assuming there is something out there that when you move a piece, that counter will already exists. So then he'd just have to screen cap it simultaneously. If that doesn't, then yes, it seems far fetched haha

carlsen forcing the queen exchance was smart, he probably wasnt super pressured as he knew he just needed to draw, and he did just that. as agad mentioned, he could have moved the knight but just captured with the pawn, leading to an epic exchange in a double Alekhine's gun, leading to the endgame very quickly. and we all know thats a drawn endgame.

@rohangeorge7122 жыл бұрын
7 captures yea. getting right into the endgame. when i saw the position after all those captures, i knew it was gonna be a draw. i knew that magnus would either win or draw, but after that series of exchanges i saw the position and knew neither player would make a huge mistake and that it was a draw. i liked the way the draw ended up tho with magnus sacrificing his knight in cool fashion. then that nice promoted queen sacrifice to leave anand with a king and a knight vs his king and pawns. when i saw the queen promotion i was like o maybe someone can win but when i saw carlsen's check to force a queen sac i was reassured that my prediction of a draw was correct. but thats all magnus needed to win the championship and thats what he got.
