You claimed that the progenitor of Esan people was a mixed race child of Oba Ewuare I. The only problem here is that the Portuguese were not in Benin Empire during Oba Ewuare I. The Portuguese arrived in Benin during the reign of Oba Esigie, about one hundred years after Oba Ewuare.
