Improve your English listening and pronunciation skills with a short story from a native speaker with a British accent! In today's video, I will be reading a thrilling short story called 'The Escaped Man', so you can listen to the British accent, and improve your English listening skills. I will then reread the story, and analyse key parts to help further improve your understanding of the grammar and vocabulary. This is perfect preparation for the IELTS Listening exam, or general English Listening and Reading Practice!

A bunch of thanks from Azerbaijan🇦🇿 for an amazing story and excellent reading 🌸 İn our language we use for such a situation: "Insani geyiminə görə qarşılayıb, ağlına görə yola salarlar." I learned a lot of British expressions from this story. Based on criminal statistics ex-criminals might work in a taxi as a driver so that a society can’t allow these guys to a higher position at work. For me, it is so sad that a passenger was killed and it was his last trip in this life. 😢🥷🏻
