They reissued the 84 Explorer a while back, and I think they're easy to find. But the Epiphone version feels super cheap and has a shitty paint job that flakes off, so I wouldn't recommend getting one.

I had an older LTD EX-260, same shape, same specs (except the push-pull) and the neck dive was absolutely atrocious. Which is the reason I sold it. You couldn't use it live, it was exhausting. Too bad, it sounded pretty good. The neck was also a bit fat for my taste.
