KNOOOOOOOOT 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦♂️🤦♂️ you're a goof man it's awesome to see how extremely informed you are on cold-weather backpacking yet humbled and how minimalistic you try to stay unless it's something that deserves more of investment for quality than others

Knots.... One thing I've learned several times both in boyscouts and the trades, and I keep forgetting how to do them. Lol thanks this is handy.

This was very helpful. I know nothing about knots and wanted to learn a few basic ones. I was able to follow along with a bit of 550 cord easily. Thanks for the video!

The clove hitch is actually a great a knot for an anchor... when you get to the anchor you can tie a quick clove hitch. It’s benefit is it won’t slip when weighted but when unweighted you can quickly and easily adjust the length you have between you and the anchor. It’s used extensively in ice climbing as it’s also easy to tie with big mittens on

The truckers hitch was once the "wagoners" hitch, used by freighters and others, before there were trucks.
