7:02 I bristle with the simplicity of this. Safety is BOTH internal feelings AND environment. Test this by bringing a picnic out in bear country, where wild animals will be even more brutal than humans gang stalking you for a psychological joyride on your life, health, and personal safety.

I didn't realize until recently that I actually feel unsafe with most individuals with regard to rejection. The emotional response is so overwhelming that I bottle it up and overanalyze the situation to the point of mental exhaustion.

Wonder if this is why I anticipate everyone’s needs before the other person even knows. I do things to meet their needs so that I can feel safe. If their needs aren’t met they will abuse and neglect me (that’s what my nervous system thinks)

No wonder my heart is racing so much both time. I don't feel safe in of the 3 areas. Very helpful to come and rewatch your videos.

I would feel so unsafe in the world and in my body I didnt feel safe to even feel emotions. I just braced my body so tightly. And not sure how to start unravelingthe tight grip?

I started with giving my body permission to be as tight as it needed to be. This helped it feel safe to release a bit. Then I learned how to regulate. You can start that here: becalm.freetheself.com
