I bought this bible last year and have enjoyed it. The leather was dry feeling when I got it so I rubed it down with mink oil and wrapped it in cloth for a good 48 hours. After that the leather was soft to the touch and smelled amaizing. Very nice book indeed for the fifty or so bucks it cost.

I've not tried mink oil on a Bible, but this would be a great one to try it on!

@@realcamhyde The Buffalo leather absorbed it very nicely. Gave the bible an almost glow for a few days.

Got this one in the Brown Mantel TruTone and the Black Genuine Leather. I’m not usually a fan of paragraph format but this one is great because of the bold verse numbers. It’s almost everything you would want in a Bible.

I like that you mentioned Tim Wildsmith. He said your name in a video and just now, I saw your channel name and thought, “Man, I’ve heard that name somewhere.” It turns out that I had heard your name somewhere.

@@realcamhyde And now that I know you know him (even if it’s just through KZbin), I’m subbing to you.

I read from some English folks that Smyth is pronounced the same as Smith. Unless there is an 'e' at the end.

Interesting! That would feel more natural to me

Sorry if you said it and I missed it: Where was it printed and what's the GSM?
