Similar in how far Ubisoft shot itself in its own foot just as Konami did with MGS.

that and if they stuck to there original formula and improved it rather then the overused rpg formula.

YOOOO LET'S GOOOO I was literally just rewatching your Bullfrog analysis which made me interested in getting into AC as a whole, and when you mentioned you'd make a video for AC one day, I didn't think we'd get it this soon, so this is a very welcome surprise and I'm so excited 😭 I already know it's gonna be good AAAAAAAA

Also bought the first three games which I have not yet played but I'm willing to get spoiled 🙏 LOL

Go ahead and play those (If you got 1, 2, and 3 - Play Brotherhood and Revelations before 3, in that order. They’re utterly essential) this will likely be a while before always, so don't wait on my video, Brother.

Back before i had any consoles that could play an assassin's creed game, i was so fascintaed by them and would watch so many youtube videos about them. the density of its world, of its lore, it all seemed so big. While what happened to the franchise is sad, I feel like video essays about it are very unexplored and I'd love to see more of them

You only have a bit more than a month left. We are waiting. Very patiently, of course, take all the time that you need and delay it if you want to!

@@QosmicVoid I have 2 controversial AC takes that I won't shut up about. 1) Pierre Bellec was absolutely correct about the Assassins Leadership and making peace with the Templars and 2) Shay Cormac was an absolute dip-shit who literally joined the bad guys because he couldn't fucking explain that the piece of eden in Portugal wasn't an apple.

It's this strange franchise where humanity is both astoundingly impressive (millenia old secret societies, touched by god powers, super intelligent, moral and powerful people on both sides, incredibly intricate plots and coverups) and also downright damned/incapable (NOTHING is true, humans are absolute trash designed to be a slave underclass on a genetic level, everyone of significance is a templar, almost nothing was actually invented, discovered or done by mankind, it was all from pieces of Eden, precursor manipulation and trickery). It's both extremely triumphant in regards to human willpower and pro choice, whilst also demonstrating destiny, predictability and explaining why humans are so easily led, manipulated lied to and controlled generally. The world is fully owned by the templars and assasins, and due to the nature of both sides, no one can win the war they have been fighting. Maybe it'll be different now Juno is fully dead but I doubt it.

Except that the Assassins don't rule the world, the powers that be and the Templars rule. The Assassins are on the resistent front against the evil regimes that make up the world of AC.
@thebutterflycomposer7130 Жыл бұрын
@@basilofgoodwishes4138 every so often, they are the ones in power or the man behind the man. It's how they destroyed the templar order and forced it underground in medieval Europe. And Ezio's Brotherhood does it again all over the Mediterranean.
@basilofgoodwishes4138 Жыл бұрын
@@thebutterflycomposer7130 No they don't. The Assassins aren't rulers to Nations, at most they work with them, but don't decide the Law. Ezio's brotherhood also doesn't rule over Italy, they more or less are part of what is going on. Also the Templar weren't destroyed in Medieval Europe by the Assassins, as they were thought off long dead by the Mongols, so no, the rulers and conquerors of that world broke them and they reinvented themselves, both factions did. Saying that the Assassins rule over the world is worse than saying that the Pope ruled over medieval Europe, none of it makes sense.
@thebutterflycomposer7130 Жыл бұрын
@@basilofgoodwishes4138 unity showed us the French crown and church taking down the templars and the assasins are right there in the background telling them to do it, killing everyone who tries to escape and take their artifacts. The templar grandmaster even says in the middle of the attack that this must be the assasins. His lackey says they were destroyed by the Mongols but he worked out they'd just hidden themselves and were now forcing the templars to do the same.
@Michael-bn1oi4 ай бұрын
@@basilofgoodwishes4138 I think you don't know that much about this franchise. The Assassins have 100% been the ones in power. Yes, they were not wearing the crowns, but they *were* pulling the strings.
