George RR Matin was a hugggeee black Knight fan. So much so, he named a very important great house house Dayne. Notable Easter Eggs: Ser Arthur Dayne, the sword of the morning. His magical sword Dawn forged from a fallen meteor. Many fans believe Jon Snow will become the new sword of the morning. And of course, Jon Snow himself, Kit Harrington is playing Dane Whitman. Whitman is named after the comic publisher George read as a kid. Bunch more as well. Just a neat connection.

I was first introduced to the character in the Avengers Under Seige storyline with the Masters of Evil. Because he was a main member of the Avengers for that story, and I knew nothing about him at the time, I found him very interesting.

I would've preferred a movie set in medieval times like an Excalibur movie, the way they did Captain America in a World War 2 scenario. The climax of the movie could've been a cool dragon battle, maybe even a post credits scene with Dr. Strange meeting Merlin. Black knight is basically a Hawkeye type character who uses ancient weapons when he should just buy a damn gun, but would rule in his own timeline.

Oh wow... Galactic Storm. That takes me back some years... I'm having flash backs as if I'm remembering my time in Vietnam. I remember going to Shinders(Downtown Minneapolis) to read all that series. Years later finding the comics in Dime Crates. Really cool story, if youre new to the galactic landscape... but man, super long.

Dane is Marvel's best character and I will box anyone that tries to argue this, I recommend some of the more recent stories he's had, the Frank Tieri run is AMAZING and the Si Spurrier run was Marvel's best book in 2021. Just a couple of notes: it's not Sir Percival, it's Percy. Also, all of Dane's horses are Tolkien references: Valinor, Aragorn, Strider, & Galadriel.
