What do we do when the narcissist is your own mother?

That is a very good question. Most of the time us in adulthood meeting a narc is most likely related to our childhood. One or two parents or guardians do put us in that cycle. Most of the time we are labelled as difficult child if we say no to Thier treatment so by default we learn people pleasing and we become "yes child". When we weak up and we say no more we become the black sheep/ Scape goat of the family. In the future I Will try to make a video on how to deal with close relatives, but in any case when dealing with a narc you have to have a BOLD boundary despite of the pain you might feel such as rejection. Parents, God put them on earth to protect us but because of the cycle they have been under in Thier own life here we are today. To break this cycle is no contact or reduced/controlled contact. Hope this was a bit helpful, stay strong! This too shall pass. Concentrate in healing I would say of rejection, abandonment issues, emotional neglection any childhood issues so you won't attract the same people in future.. bless you 🙏🏾
