I'm so glad that Bruce and Rick were able to continue to keep The Jam music alive and they were able to make a living. It's obvious from the crowd they really love this. Weller may have written the songs but Bruce and Rick's playing was critical to the sound of The Jam.

The band with Weller was great. But Russell's performances brought a freshness to these songs that we love. I find this perfect DVD and I think the own Weller has enjoyed this work.

I got here from Weller's 'Eton Rifles' and by comparison, these guys blows away Weller and his session band mates. As you can see here, FTJ captures the spirit of the song as it was intended: raw, unpolished, un-compromising, perfected by the power 3 piece arraignment. Don't know the new lead singer's name, but he is definitely worthy of carrying the standard. Keep rocking on, FTJ.

Russ Hastings is the lead, he's a massive Jam fan, living the dream! Rick has said that the physicality of drumming Jam songs meant he couldn't continue to tour at the rate FTJ do! We love them!

I heard one of the Jam , I think it was Foxton , on Radio3 talking about how gutted the band were when Geller decided to quit. They's just don a load of prep work for a tour then he landed that on them. Apparently, it came out of the blue.
