The Etruscan Vie Cave of Sovana, Sorano and Pitigliano by bicycle

You have certainly guessed that our favourite means of 'locomotion', even when we go on holiday, is the bicycle. We almost always visit the countryside, villages and towns, starting a little further away and approaching our goal from the saddle.
During our autumn holidays, when we wanted to visit the Etruscan Vie Cave in Sovana, Sorano and Pitigliano, we found very little information on whether these could be visited by bicycle. A few sites said yes and many others did not mention it at all. The very fact that there was no mention of them meant that there might be some difficulty.
We didn't give up and rode most of the gorges digged in the tuff by the etruscans, obviously carrying our bikes ... but it was totally worth it both for the beauty and especially as we like it ... for the adventure.
