@@hollywood5214 you state those points like it's all encompassing of the positive points that can be brought - what about preservation of national culture and identity? The retention of the youth of the country and the concept of total democracy and national sovereignty. There's also the negative that if you go down (2008 financial crisis) nobodies going to help you for free. The sense of "the greater good" doesnt work in the favour of any but "the greater" that being France, Germany, and to some extent England. And before you insinuate that I'm from a country that isn't a net contributer to the EU, I'm not. And it still gets shafted by Brussels. I'm not saying it isn't good - it definitely is economically - but it has advantages and disadvantages and is in dire need of some reforms atm imho.

Go around your local museums,historical buildings and cultural organizaitions and investigate how many of them recieve in one way or another EU funds. Even in historical walking routes i've seen EU funds supporting their recovery after decades of neglect. I call that supporting the perservation of national culture way more than our national government would care about.
