Very informative discussion. I hv recently passed EDAIC 2 ( March 2024). Dr Danish had been one of the key motivators for me to take edaic exam. He has a very expert team in Acamedics. Most important aspect of Acamedics are the mock vivas and lectures. The viva setting is almost exactly the same as original exam. And I think that it is one of the most important part of preparation to clear EDAIC.

At present yes but it might change in future since pakistan diploma is not eligible.

@@amritanandi3066 4-6 months preparation time is optimum if u hv to start from scratch. You can enrol at the same time and intensify mock vivas 6-8 weeks before exam.

Its my humble request please make a video for clarifying my doubts sir,it will be helpful for all students down the line sir I got rank of 45k sir this year neetpg 2024 ,planning to join nbems diploma anesthesia in india through neetpg 2024 sir. According to this video my timelines will be ……… i am joining course in oct 2024 if I join Akamedics (by 2025 i can go through content in 2026 which help me in passing nbems diploma exams at end of 2026,(please clarify sir when will be diploma exams for students who are joining this year )after passing diploma I can apply for EDAIC part 1 in march 2027 and sit for exam in sep 2027 ,my pass result will be in nov 2027 and on january 2028 i can apply for EDAIC part 2 and hopefully i can pass exam in april/may so that i can apply for gmc registration in 2nd half of 2028 and move to Uk . Question 1)* please clarify how soon I can apply for EDAIC part 1 sir as it is taking almost 4yrs to move to UK * Question 2)*also please clarify only if i can apply for EDAIC part 1 after 1yr training in nbems diploma or can i apply for idac part 1 only after 3yrs experience counting 2yrs diploma and 1yr experience or 3yrs experience after finishing the diploma? Question 3)*after moving to Uk can we earn something after passing EDAIC or should we wait for consultant post (which is years far away after passing idac )?

If some one is a stammerer ,will he get extra time to answer the questions?

The examiner would be considerate, as stammering could disadvantage a candidate. But the viva time remains the same for everyone. My advice for someone who stammers, is to undertake extra viva practice. Also, it’s worth emailing ESAIC to check their policy for people with speech disabilities.

Hi sir very well informative video, i have a question , like how ediac helps in Middle east to land a job , n will the job package amount differs after MD Anesthesia in india and followed by EDIAC If one is planning to middle east , waiting for your reply sir

EDAIC may not help you in immediately getting a better salary package in the Middle East. It will help you secure a job in the U.K. After being trained in the U.K. and with further qualifications, then you get a better position and of course handsome salary package.

Having an EDAIC means you have achieved European standards. It always stands tall on ur CV when u apply to high quality institutions and centers. No direct benefit with degree in Middle East but indirectly it definitely helps secure good jobs and positions. Also people in the Middle East write this as a safety back up option to jump to UK anytime from Middle East. Also I have seen people from all ages and phases of careers take this exam. 30s 40s 50s and even 60s

Great experience since u hold MRCP with SCE so u will get paid more but case counts depends on the area u choose and live

No unfortunately you are not eligible. You should have done FCPS to be eligible. Some hospitals have started MS or MD in anaesthesia, after these post graduate qualification, you will be eligible.

Only FCPS anaesthesia completed fully in Pakistan is eligible to enter as specialist in UK without even MRCA or EDAIC
