Man this game was fucking raw for it's time. I remember being 12 and spending all the money I made un making different cars for different settings and SPECIFICALLY making them look very much the same. When I had to beat Ryo Watanabe I had most of them totalled and no money for the insurance. Made a shitty run with a Supra on heavy damage on a lower difficulty race, won a coupon for the dealership and stole the Pagani Zonda. Proceeded to beat Ryo with said car while screaming like a rabid squirrel with a low level of Asperger's I remember hating this game at first, cuz it wasn't a free roam, illegal street racing with cop massacres type of Need For Speed. Dead wrong I realized I was when i beat it and felt the satisfaction of a lifetime. Such good memories... A note worth mentioning is that, countless racing games played later, this title has such an extreme sensation of speed... No other game came even close of matching it
