Just a note on the Tenterfield upgrade to V4. The level 2 charger and card readers are to make them compliant with the NSW funding which for this site needs to happen by the end of the year as it was one of the first under the first round. 2 of them also need to deliver 250kw max which is borderline according to the cabinet plaque. See if they turn on this stuff on by then, because the Level 2 and card reader didn’t work when I was there.

Yes agree with pricing ... probably why ZEEKR have decided to start with the X first in Australia

FYI I upgraded to 1.2 of the software for the seal and tested it out at the v4 supercharger in Figtree given my charger fix. All good!

There's a local with an EX30 that parks on my street FHx plates so very recent. Definitely turned my head (thought it was C40 initially). Very nice, but also very high price tag (same as any other Volvo, Polestar).

Yes Volvos have traditionally commanded that higher price

doh missed the live stream. Did Zeekr mention why they decided not to release 001 as one of their first cars here in AUS (over 10k sales every months in China) but choose the MPV and X (around 300-400 units sold last month) that doesn't do so well at all in China? Both BYD and Xpeng released their best sellers as their initial launch car here, Zeekr seems to be doing the opposite.

ZEEKR told us in China that they like to do things differently and enter segments of the market not currently occupied … perhaps they may reconsider after seeing the results of our poll 😁

@@LudicrousFeed Fair enough for the MPV but the X? only other crossover EV in our market i can name is the Kia EV6. Buyers in China are labelling the 001 2024 refresh as one of the most value packed EVs on the market that's why it's been selling so well. $52kAUD for it. hopefully we see it around $70kAUD pricing!

im very excited for the sealion 07. I read that exact article in the video and they seem to think its range starts at about 550km. I'm hoping its priced reasonbly well and isn't too expensive otherwise I will just go with the seal sedan.

We’ll have to do a real world range test to substantiate their claims 👍 Although it’s a bigger car than Model Y, the pricing will be very close to the Y RWD

The CLTC range of the 610 is nearly identical to the model Y RWD CLTC range. Until some does a real world comparison, it would be safe to assume that the real world range of the 610 is the same and the 550 about 10% less.

@@LudicrousFeed even if its real world range on 550km runs at about 480km i think that would be perfectly fine. In pricing however to make a dent in model y sales its probably going to want to be a fair wack cheaper, at least for the entry level version of it. My hopes are Entry level (I assume it'll be called sealion 7 dynamic) 50k drive away Long range- 56k Peformance- 60k.
