As entrepreneurs, we often want to introduce new products to the market, which can be technological products that have certain innovative characteristics; however, we do not know how quickly that product will be adopted by customers.
For this there is a model called Diffusion of innovations, which explains the processes of dissemination or communication of new news in different societies. In other words, the model refers to the stages that go through a novel idea, product or service, to be fully known by a market, from the first adopters to the last stragglers to acquire it.
Diffusion of innovations is a sociological theory that aims to explain how, why and at what speed new ideas (and technologies) move through different cultures.
