The Everly Brothers were a true duet. They harmonized entire songs. Unlike many who came later that would only harmonize on the chorus.

You are right about The Crickets being involved in the backing of this song. Jerry Allison was on the drums and Sonny Curtis on the guitar. Sonny Curtis of course went on to write 'Walk Right Back' for the Everlys.

I heard it in good faith,that the "Crickets" laid down the backing for this track and the final "Cut" seems to have lost the piano.
