Climate change has been called an "everything" issue, meaning it already impacts all aspects of our lives: housing, health, education, economic development, and more.
It's also an "everybody" issue. As the climate worsens, we need everybody to begin asking the climate question.
For community development practitioners and for those who care about cities, there is special urgency. There's no time to wait, as cities must prepare now for a climate-impacted future.
With narration from EcoAdapt's Chief Scientist & Executive Director Lara Hansen and commentary from Kresge Foundation Environment Program Incoming Managing Director Shamar Bibbins and University of Michigan Vice Provost for Sustainability and Climate Action Shalanda Baker, this video serves as an invitation to join the movement to incorporate climate adaptation and mitigation into daily work in cities.
