I have a beautiful story as well related to Riba (Interest). Since my childhood I had this dream to become a Airline Pilot. Unfortunately I couldn't afford it to pay 70K/80K Instantly so did some research about loans. Then COVID came and the time wasn't right to start flying. In the mean time I didn't knew it was better for me NOT to become a pilot. Now I understand why it all didn't happen. All because of Riba. Alhamdulillah for this. Now I see there are much better jobs than just being a pilot. Don't go @War with Allah. Take the hard, but true path. Allah will make it easier

No, QE is not central banks creating money. QE is central banks using newly created money to buy up government bonds because there is low demand for the bonds, and QT is selling those bonds back in the market. But central banks make money for other reasons that’s not QE and high street banks make most of the money in circulation. That’s why we have interest rates. It’s to regulate the high street banks money creation.

@@JhinDev Its more than that. Paper Money backed by NOTHING is not legal tender according to Orthodox Sunnah position. Paper currencies also devalue at 5% a year and some at 50% a year. Its not legit unless its backed by Gold/Silver or a tangible Commodity. Paper Money is just a promisory note to pay.

@@ajay777-lm3po yes but realistically speaking, if muslims who live in the west stop using paper money tomorrow, they will starve and be severly disadvantaged because they cannot buy neccesities like food, shelter etc. A nice 5 bedroom house you want is not a neccesity, Im sorry. Rent, move to a cheaper area. All of this is better than to willingly sign even 1 dollar of riba.

Allah will make it easy for you stay consistant and network with brothers in your masjid alot of brothers are in the IT field so you can ask for their help and there are a BUNCH of free coding courses on KZbin and on websites I'm still a beginner myself but I'm building towards a software engineer position all from self learning

Out of ignorance i involved myself in a riba mortgage. I know regret it deeply. I have an option to change to a islamic mortgage. However i have been advised that this might also be riba. Anyone advise will be appreciated

If you’re asking me if you should go into a new mortgage, I would say no, but you’re already in one. It already exists. So try your best to finish it off quickly, and if you can, and you have enough equity in the property to buy another house outright (maybe in a Muslim land) then sell your house and do that. But you don’t need to end an existing contract if you will find yourself in a bigger problem.

I know exactly how you feel. I was in the same situation too. I wanted to pursue my career in nursing but I backed out because I didn't want to take out a loan for it. It's been a really hard decision that I had to make especially nowadays when times are so hard and expensive but the moment you say no to that uni and pray to الله that only HE can make a way out for you He will. Uni is not the only form of success. There is the authentic Hadith where it states, "if you give up something for the sake of الله , Allah will REPLACE it with something FAR BETTER". Also what helped me to move on from doing the school loan was listening to lectures based on why riba is extremely haram and how it will cause more damage than good in dunya and akhirah. Also listen to Abu Taymmiyah lectures about " leaving haram for the sake of Allah". Those lectures always help motivate me that I have made the right decision and that Allah will provide me with something far better. Even on KZbin just type "leaving something for the sake of Allah" and so many stories of miracles that have happened to people that have changed their life from sources that they could not have imagine. Please don't do the uni with loan! I don't know you but I understand your situation its not easy but my bro/sis for the sake of الله don't ruin not just your akhirah but also your dunya over riba. So many stories of people lives getting destroyed after taking riba. Yeah some people that you may know prob have done the riba way and are prob well off but for how long until their time of destruction comes to them and ruins their lives in the worst of ways. I hope I was some sort of help and motivation as well. May الله make a way out for you out of uni and provide you with sources you couldn't have imagined as He has promised. ✨

Don’t get student finance!! There’s other alternatives. You’d be rewarded double.. one for abstaining the loan and another for your effort in other means even if it took long. Do level 4 first then 5 then top up. Level 4 would cost you 3k per year so 6 k in two years (as all level 4 take x2 years to complete) then 6k for level 5 and 9k for top up. Pay from your pocket whilst earning whilst you study. Simple. Or work 2 years straight and save up then go uni. Who says you gotta do uni in a rush?

Why not the muslims overseas try to pursue or create a proper Islamic Bank? All i can see is people complaining all the time, why not some muslims pursue study Islamic Financing course and create an Islamic Bank? There are a lot of Islamic financing principle that is benefiting the muslims and majority muslims are not able to enjoy it as the service is not there.

Easy answer. 1) Because “Islamic Bank” is like saying “Islamic brothel”. Those two words are oxymorons 2) Also, it would be illegal to run a bank without a banking licence, and to get a banking licence you need to do the haraam things that make a bank haram. Is that clear?

It was spearheaded together with the ulama to make sure muslims have a proper financial way to do things. Solutions are clear…use a debit card instead of a credit card, rent instead of mortgage, buy a cheap car instead of financing an expensive one, there are already solutions in front of us we just make excuses to try and justify the haram in our minds sadly

@@AbubakrTheMusaafir everything is coming through western banking system, debit card can go into overdraft, salary and pension is coming through same system, investment is also through the same system, if we declare all of these riba then Muslims have the only option left to beg and keep earned money under pillow at home .

@@AbubakrTheMusaafir It seems like you misunderstood my question.. The solution you provided was for the individual who may not have delved into Riba yet. The prevention aspect. I'm asking for the Cure. For the individuals that have already fallen into the trap and want to find a way out from the punishments. ie what zikr to recite, what Du'a to make, what Ayats to recite to help uplift this destruction from themselves. Many people don't know how to seek forgiveness or make Du'a. You should be focusing on that more so people can save themselves. You have a duty of care for your peoples since you opted for that role as soon as you entered the Da'wah scene.

Both riba and selling drugs are wrong, both would not be pleasing to our Lord. But having to go to war with Allaah is mentioned in the Qur'aan as a punishment for those who do not fear Allaah and give up what remains of interest. that's not to be taken as a joke. Riba is a major sin. "O you who have believed, fear Allāh and give up what remains [due to you] of interest, if you should be believers. And if you do not, then be informed of a war [against you] from Allāh and His Messenger. But if you repent, you may have your principal - [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged." baqarah 278-279
