The saddest and most shocking part about this all is when I overheard my students who are in grades 3 & 4 (aged 8-9) talking about Adam Saleh and his youtube videos. The worst part is that I work in an Islaamic school. The innocence and naivety of these poor kids, their parent's upbringing, the efforts of the islaamic school/purpose of sending them and confining them to an islaamic environment...all out the window. Just like that. Not only are these sins in the blatant open but his ideology and murji'ite-like tendencies (from what is apparent in his speech) are infiltrating the minds of these innocent and impressionable youngsters. About a year or two, I was a deen squad fan I literally thought that their music was actually halal. And when they say that they don’t have time for “ haram police” I thought imran and Ali dawah and all the people in the dawah scene were the haram police. So one day I watched a video of dawah man where he talked about how haram deen squad music is and I comment an entire paragraph defending dean squad. Imran, this was a well structured video. Well done. I'm surprised people are surprised and didn't see this somewhat coming. A big lesson for all of us. But in the meantime, yes, they messed up, but we should share the information with them, and call them towards the best. It's one thing to acknowledge someone's downwards spiral, it's another thing to want for them to have an upwards spiral. The Prophet (SAW) said: "You don't believe UNTIL you love for your brother what you would love for yourself." [and he also said (I think in another hadith or in the same one; I can't remember)]: "You will not enter Jannah until you believe." So, we ask Allah (SWT) to guide them, as well as us. We should never feel a sense of enjoyment when people are in a bad state. If you were in their state, you would love to get out of it, if only you actually knew you're IN a bad state. They don't know (yet). Let them know (now).
