I went through this with my two older daughters... They are half black and im Mexican/white. We live in a small town with nothing but white people. There is like maybe 4-5 black families now in our small town. But one day my daughter was upset and I kept asking her why She told me why couldn't they be white and that they are dark and kids where making fun of their hair 😭 it tore me up and broke my heart into a million and one piece!!! I told them that they are so beautiful and there is so MANY woman that pay a lot of money to get their hair curly like theirs and they have the most beautiful spiral curly hair. I remind my daughters ALL THE TIME that they are beautiful and nothing is wrong with them and to love their self! As a mother we have to love our children and lift them up and to teach them how to love their self!!

@nolanshaw2596I totally agree with you. I’ve notice that ever since Luis stepped in the picture. The bare minimum effort Luis makes compared to Devion is at the bottom of the ocean. Brianna should have all that frustration for Luis as oppose to Devion; who in fact is more involved in not just Nova’s life, but Stella’s also. She has severe codependency issues with her mother and sister. And Roxanne damaged Brianna and Brittany due to her being a woman scorned from her failed relationship(s) in the past with their fathers.

I agree!! Nova should have ALWAYS been around devion and his family from the jump. It’s wild that Briana and her crazy ass family have kept her from them the way she has. I can’t stomach my son’s bio father … but best believe he’s got a GREAT relationship with his paternal grandparents and his aunts and uncles and cousins from that side of his family. Every person needs their family and honestly my son… all my kids even my girls … they deserve as many people to love and cherish them as possible! The more the merrier!! Idk devion but I do remember when he was there for not only nova and loving on her but also her little sister. I haven’t watched this show in a long time but last I saw devion seemed to really be growing into a very respectable man. He doesn’t get the credit he deserves. And then you have Briana and Brittney and their mother still being the same crazy low life ratchet women… I acted like that when I was a teenager. Thought I was so tough don’t f with me blah blah blah … at 32 years old I would DIE if I acted like that now. I certainly wouldn’t be going out in public acting like that never mind acting like that in front of CAMERAS. It’s crazy
