It was 2014. I was at the flee market and I was looking around when I saw a game. "telltale's the walking dead" was the name of it. Out of curiosity I bought the game not knowing what to expect but when I went home and played it any expectations I had were blown away. I played it a lot and made a strong bond with Lee, Clementine, and Kenny and I sobbed at the end. I didn't know that there was a second season so I ended up forgetting about the game. But 3 years later I am at Walmart and I see a game titled "telltale's the walking dead a new frontier" and I see a girl on the case and I knew she looked familiar but then I saw her hat and I was shocked because I didn't know about the sequels. So I bought both season 2 and 3 and was again blown away except by season 3 which I didn't like but when I heard that there was going to be another season I got excited again. It felt so satisfying to play as an older Clem it was like seeing your child all grown up. Then disaster struck. Telltale shut down and I was so sad that I was never going to see the end of Clem's journey. But when skybound said that they were finishing the season I was so happy. When the final episode came I felt dreadful and excited at the same time and when Clem got bit I screamed then when she "died" I cried then when it turned out that she was alive I jumped off of my chair and started jumping on my bed. Then it ended and I felt empty. All these emotions I felt were the result of this series and it has been one hell of a ride. I will miss you Lee , Clementine, AJ, Kenny, Christa, Omid, Luke, Alvin, Rebecca, Violet, Tenn, Willy, Mitch, Ruby, Aasim, and of course Louis (BTW I'm a clouis fan). Farewell telltale's the walking dead I will miss you.

I was 11 years old when I first played through the first season with a friend of mine. 10 when it came out. I was 13 when season 2 came out, Season 3 came out just 1 week before my 15th birthday and The Final Season Ep4 was supposed to come out 1 week before my 17th birthday but sadly it was way delayed and came out in march but I'm just happy that I got it. I don't know how many can say the same, but for me this whole story, and Clementine, is something I come back to when I feel like breaking. Obviously zombie apocalypse is fiction, but to me, having grown up in abusive household, now at 20+ years of surviving, fighting severe depression and various anxiety disorders, it perfectly captures feeling like you live in a world that's dangerous and trying to break you constantly. A world with no hope, but you still try to survive, fighting everyday. There's been many stories of survivors of various apocalypses. But Clementine is special. She's a rare case of a character we've witnessed on her whole journey. We know how her journey starts and ends, and how deep her psychological changes are, going on for years of her life, from innocent child to hardened teenagehood. And watching this I realized something - maybe something obvious, but I think all people who are too hard on themselves, or feel like they can't do it anymore, that they're too weak for all the obstacles ahead of them should know this. Look at Clem at the start and end. I'm looking at this child, her clean clothes, soft face, and naivety - little would she know what's ahead of her. Not only all the death, but I'm thinking the physical harm, ultimately losing her leg. This child wouldn't bear losing a leg. It would destroy her. But at the point when she eventually does, it's actually something that saves her life, and she knows that - it's still terrible - but not compared to what she's been through. And I realized - that we need to take our journeys one obstacle at a time. Maybe we feel like something would break us - and maybe it would. So take it slow. Prepare for it. Invest in the journey, in your growth, developing the skill, hardening your skin one day at a time. And don't overthink it, don't pressure yourself by imagining all the doom that could fall on you. Would you tell this little Clementine what terrible things await her? No. Be like Lee was to her, only to yourself. And keep surviving. This is a long text, but I wanted to write it as a mental note for myself, and anyone who feels like they've lost hope

I just can't imagine how she's story continued this long. And the moment came when she got bit that was the moment I just got so angry that I broke my monitor. But I am glad she is alive. I grew up with clementine. I watched the walking dead videos (Remember Stampy? He made a let's play of them, he swore so he took them down since it's a kid's channel). I was actually 7-8 at the time, around the same age as clementine. I literally grew up as she grew up. It holds such a special place in my heart, even though the actual game gave my kiddie-self nightmares 8 years ago. Now I'm 15 and reminiscing about that time of my life (I'm still very young but I digress), I feel like a good chunk of my childhood is virtually over, and even though I didn't enjoy a lot of it, this game reminds me how grateful I should be for living such a comfortable life.
